2 EXHIBITORS CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Please read all details of schedule carefully. ALL exhibitors and their assistants are required to sign a waiver form before being allowed into the judging ring. A FULLY COMPLETED NATIONAL CATTLE HEALTH STATEMENT MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY FORMS Breed must be stated on the entry form Actual age of the animal calculated and inclusive of the 13th October 2018 All animals must be haltered and led with approved nose grips fitted. A heifer is considered a female that has not had a calf and is not over 3(three) years of age. A calf under 8(eight) months of age must parade with its mother in the cow classes. Age of calf to be actual age up to and inclusive It is the Exhibitors responsibility to ensure all animals entered in classes are ready when Steward calls the class. ALL exhibitors should enter the Grand Parade after judging, except for those considered by the Stewards to be unable to be controlled. It is the owner s responsibility for the handler to be capable of leading an animal. Handler/Leader must be over 12 years of age to lead a BULL at the Show. The decision of the Judge shall be final. Prize money will be presented by a Cattle Steward. The Steward reserves the right to alter classes on the day. 3 Stud Beef Cattle Rules & Regulations apply to ALL BREEDS Cattle to be exhibited at the Show must be free of Pesti Virus.- Certificate is to be forwarded with entries. All exhibitors will need a National Cattle Health Declaration with a JBAS Score All Exhibits must be the property of the Exhibitor and must have been in their possession for at least 1(one) month prior to the Show. Exhibitors must supply documentation regarding name, pedigree & age of the animal on the entry form. ALL STOCK MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE BREEDS SOCIETIES. The age of Stud Beef Cattle shall be the actual age as per the Ages set out in this Schedule. A heifer is considered a female that has not had a calf and is not over 3(three) years of age. A calf under 8(eight) months of age must parade with its mother in the cow classes. Age of calf to be actual age. ALL CATTLE MUST BE ON THE GROUND BY 8:00am, SATURDAY Of THE SHOW. ALL EXHIBITS must be available for inspection by persons nominated by the Society at any time, for any reason. If any Exhibit/Exhibitor is not ready to parade when class is called, then the class will go ahead without that exhibit/exhibitor. FEMALE BEEF CATTLE must be haltered and led with approved nose grips fitted. ALL BULLS over 12(twelve) months must have a ring fitted. Neck straps or chin chains must be used on all cattle stalled overnight in beef cattle pavilion. Exhibits to be stalled in designated area. Sawdust bedding is provided by the Show Society. On any protest relative to age, the Judge reserves the right to mouth any exhibit and make a final decision. The Society will not hold itself responsible for any loss or miss-delivery of stock or other exhibits at the Show or damage thereto. Any matter arising that is not covered by these Rules & Regulations will be determined by the Chief Steward. ANY RECOGNISED BEEF BREED WILL BE CATERED FOR ON REQUEST

ALL current Ribbon Winners are expected to take part in the Parade. Open to any Registered Beef Breeds All animals must be entered in General Classes. Identical classes are provided for each Breed type. Entries must show the appropriate PREFIX letter to Identify the Breed. Classes will be judged as: A. British Breeds B. European Breeds C. Small Breeds (Lowline, Dexter, Gallaway etc) D. 13 RAS JUNIOR JUDGING~Group Young Judges Competitions In Junior Beef Cattle Judging competitors are asked to place four (4) animals in order of merit and give a reason for their selection on paper. Animals supplied. Orals will be conducted after the Paraders competition R.A.S. Judging Competition Group 2 Regional Qualifying Round Saturday 13th October 2018 Age Groups Under 13 yrs 13 yrs and under 17 yrs 17 yrs and under 25 yrs Age to be taken as at 1st May, 2018 Overall winner in the age group 15 yrs and under 25 yrs will qualify to Judge in the Beef Section at the 2019 Sydney Royal Show. A.S.C. Regulations. 1. Competitors must be over 15 yrs and under 25 yrs on 1st May, No competitor can represent more than one (1) Show Society in any Group Final at more than one group in a State Final. The winners of the National Finals cannot compete at any level in the particular competition which they won. 3. Winners of two (2) State Finals in any one class shall not be eligible for future competition in that class. 4. The Hormal Slide will be used at Group and State Finals. 5. Two (2) representatives from the Beef Judging section will be eligible to compete at State level. 6. Winner will be requested to do a report on any study tour they take as a result of winning a competition to justify the sponsorship money. 7. Competitors will be eliminated from the competition if deemed by the Chief Steward to be receiving outside assistance. Junior Judging will commence Immediately after the end of the Stud and steer judging. ENTRY FEE: FREE Enter on the day PRIZES: CHAMPION & RESERVE CHAMPION JUNIOR JUDGE

14 JUNIOR PARADING IMPORTANT: Paraders under the age of 18 years must not be leading a BULL in the paraders competition. Parading is to encourage young people s interest and skills in cattle. Neatness of attire and cattle handling skills will be judged. It is the handler, not the animal, that is being judged, the animal does not need to be a stud animal. Entries taken on the day. Paraders will begin immediately following the Junior Judging Age groups may be combined or divided into heats at the steward s discretion depending upon numbers of entrants in each age group. Open to all 20 years and under 1-11 years & under 2-12/13 years 3-14/15 years 4-16/17 years 5-18 years and over 6 Champion & reserve Champion Parader Junior Parading is
