It is one way we show respect to our judges who give up their time to help us. As the rider before you is leaving the arena, you should be making your way around the arena to the judge. Do not approach the judge until you are asked. You have 45 seconds after the judge has given you your start signal, before you must enter the arena. You can be eliminated if you start before the signal, or failing to enter within 45 seconds.

Riders walking the course must be wearing correct show jumping attire with numbers and hats, and you will need to be gear checked before competing. Please remember when you enter the ring to compete, you must make your way to the judge quickly, and not start before she has given her signal. 4 CROSS COUNTRY STARTS AT 11.30am IN NUMBER ORDER Wearing a back protector is recommended during the cross country phase of the event and is compulsory for A,B & C grades. Briefing for cross country judges to be held in clubrooms at 9.30am SHARP. Any rider whose helper is not available May face elimination.
