11 QUALIFICATION DETAILS This show is affiliated to the BSPS and all classes are held in accordance with the 2014 Rule & Show Handbook and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in BSPS classes, whether or not members of the BSPS are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the BSPS including the disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS. Any pony taking part in classes judged under BSPS Rules will be liable to dope testing. This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Championships 2014 to be held at the Arena UK Grantham, 1 st & 2 nd Prizewinners will qualify in classes 14-17, 57-59, 61 & st, 2nd & 3rd prize-winners in classes 11, 64, & st, 2 nd, 3rd & 4 th prize-winners in classes 13 and 60 provided the animal is owned, registered and ridden by a BSPS member or in accordance with the BSPS rules 23 & 28. BSPS BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES BEST RIDER The Best Rider in each of the following classes at all BSPS affiliated shows will be awarded a Best Rider card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championships. Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden, Open 128cms, 138cms, 148cms Show Ponies, Open L/R of Show Hunter type, Open 122cms, 133cms, 143cms, 153cms Show Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT and SH classes to riders who have not attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st January in the current year. BSPS CLASSIC SECURITY U.K. LTD CHALLENGE 2014 This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge, the highest placed pony in the Lead rein, First Ridden, Lead Rein of HT, Open Show Pony, Open SHP, Open Int. SRT & SH classes that has not qualified for the 2014 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified then the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. Animals may qualify for both the BSPS Blue Riband and the BSPS Challenge but must select which competition they compete in at the BSPS Championships. If after qualifying a pony then qualifies for Horse of the Year show it will then forfeit its qualification for the BSPS Challenge BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE 2014 This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League. The 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, & 4 th prizewinners in the following Open classes will qualify: Lead Rein & First Ridden, 128cms, 138cms, 148cms Show Pony. Lead Rein of H/T, 122cms, 133cms, 143cms, 153cms SHP, Intermediate SRT & SH. In mixed height classes 1 st -4 th will qualify. The finals to be held at the BSPS Summer Championship show. BSPS SPEAKMAN CONTRACTORS SUMMER SUPREME This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Area 2B Speakman Contractors Summer Supreme Championship to be held at the BSPS Area 2B Summer Show on Saturday 26 th July 2014 at Warren Farm, Formby - details of which classes/championships qualify at this show for the Championship can be found by visiting where more information about the final can also be found. 500 to the Champion with generous cash prizes to 5 th place. NCPA This show is a qualifier for the NCPA Pony of the Year show on the 7 th September 2014 at Rodbaston College. 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd prize winners in the appropriate classes will qualify. NCPA Star rosettes will be awarded in classes 12, 17, 62. Members must enter the ring wearing their NCPA badge and be in possession of their CURRENT years membership card. NCPA registered pony rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed NCPA registered Horse and Pony in classes 27, 46, 57, 65. Handlers and riders must wear a red armband and their pink card must be produced in the ring. It is condition of entry that the horse/pony registration number is quoted on the entry form. All appropriate classes qualify for the NCPA Pony of the Year show. PONIES ASSOCIATION (UK) This show is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) 2014 Supreme Championships to be held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 8-10 th August st, 2 nd & 3 rd placed horses/ponies in all Supreme National Championships will qualify for the P(UK) Supreme Championship 2014 and P(UK) Winter Classic Qualification cards will not be presented in the ring, placing will be confirmed by results sent in by the Show Secretary within 14 days of the qualifying show. Competitors in qualifying positions who are not current members of P(UK) must become a member and register their horses/pony before the time of entry. Please note that any pony stallion not exc. 138cms or small breed M&M stallions i.e. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A, B may not be ridden by Juniors who have not attained their 12 th birthday before 1 st January at any

12 show affiliated to Ponies UK. Stallions exc. 138cms or large breed M&M stallions may not be ridden by juniors who have not attained their 14 th birthday before 1 st January at any show affiliated to Ponies Assoc (UK). EQUIFEST This show is a qualifier for Equifest to be held at the East of England showground on th August 2014 The 2 highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify from classes: 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 18-21, 11, 12, 14-17, 44-47, 57-59, 61-62, COLOURED HORSE AND PONY SOCIETY This show is affiliated to The coloured horse and Pony society (UK). Both owner and Rider / Exhibitor need not to be a member of CHAPS (UK) not must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete. The CHAPS (UK) Championship show will be help on th August Shows held on or after the date of the Championship show will count as 2014 qualifiers.
