For over 100 years and four generations Shorthorn cattle have been the mainstay and family business for us. This truly is a Family Event sale. Myself, my wife, Melissa and our kids Sammi and Jaxon make up the daily labor force here at Schrag Shorthorns. We breathe, eat and sleep Shorthorn cattle. We are proud that many of the breeds great cow families started here, like the Augusta Prides and Revivals. Their presence is felt heavily in this set of calves. This calf crop has been an absolute joy to watch develop. Amidst the worst drought in decades they gained and grew extremely well and without question this is the deepest set of show heifers and herd bulls ever offered. You will notice in many of the pedigrees the prefix is prevalent for many generations and on both sides of the pedigree. This is by design. We strive to create genetic lines that are consistent, have longevity and are most importantly profitable.
