2 We ask you all too please clean up after yourself at this show, this includes manure being spread around the boundary trees this helps us maintain the usage of our council owned grounds. 1. Current SHC (WA) or EWA Height Certificate must be presented when nominating for any official ring 2. Ponies/horses competing in the official ring are to be SHC or EWA registered, 3. Rider s age is as on the day. Birth Certificates must be produced on request. 4. Official First Ridden ponies to not exceed 12.2hh. Age of rider 5 years and under 12, Ponies to be ridden in a snaffle, No cantering is allowed on the ring together however short canter in the individual performance back to the judge, Ponies must enter and leave the ring at either walk or trot, This class is to be judged on suitability of the pony for the intended purpose, A narrow strap may be attached to the front of the saddle, Snaffle bit to be worn in lead rein and first ridden classes 5. Ponies/Horses that compete in the unofficial ring may NOT compete in the official ring with a different rider (including leading rein, show pony, show hunter). 6. We do not encourage horses, ponies or riders to compete in Official Rings and then change over to the Unofficial Ring, either at this club or others. 7. APPROVED SAFETY HELMETS MUST BE WORN BY ALL COMPETITORS. 8. Riding on the grounds is not permitted if you are not entered, unless you pay an insurance levy and sign a disclaimer. 9. The Committee of Riverside Riding Club reserves the right to cancel, alter or combine any event they may deem necessary. 10. Protests: The Judge s decision is final. Protests will only be accepted in writing by the Ground Jury and within 30 mins of the conclusion of the event. A $50 deposit is required and will only be refunded if the protest is upheld. (See SHC Handbook) 11. All horses are to compete as hack or hunter NOT both 12.
