1 2018 NSWRA Field Class Championships Coffs Harbour November 9, 10, 11 Friday: rimfire, Saturday: centrefire day 1, Sunday: centrefire day 2 Coffs Harbour Rifle Club Dairyville Rifle Range 367 Dry Creek Road Dairyville NSW Also to be won in this competition, will be everything from the clubs prize shoot which is normally on this weekend. To be won in all grades: Queens Badges and Championship Medals plus Prizes and Cash. Pairs, Triples, Lucky Bull, Lucky Entry Fee Draw (refund of your entry fee), plus a big raffle, will also ensure that many people go home with more than what they arrived with. The Dairyville rifle range is located 20k west of the city centre. This shooting complex is on an 80 acre parcel of land owned outright by Coffs rifle club. It has a 600m main range and a 90m rimfire range. Both ranges have 10 targets which are all operated by compressed air. There is also an area leased to the SSAA for Benchrest, and another area for Bellingen Pistol Club. The clubhouse has ladies, gents and disabled toilets and showers. There is 240v power, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room, bar facilities etc. plus a covered outdoor area with gas BBQ. The main camping area is next to the clubhouse. Camping fees- $10 per night Powered, $5 per night Non Powered. All cash prizes will be paid by cheque at a later date, after the financial figures for the event have been finalised. 2 RIMFIRE PROGRAMME Friday 9th November metres Standing 60 metres Sitting or Kneeling 90 metres Prone This meeting will be conducted under the Standard Shooting Rules for Field Class as amended. Safety rules shall apply and are displayed on the Notice Board. Modified rimfire targets with the only black area being the V bull (as shown below) will be used. GRADING: A 85 and above B 75 to 84 C under 75 Calculated as per Standard Shooting Rules for Field and Rimfire Grading Appendix 5 to Chapter 17. ENTRY FEE: $35 BBQ lunch is available for a gold coin donation. STARTING TIME: 8.00 am sharp Entries close 9.15 am. MARKING: Competitor Marking. COURSE OF FIRE: (for all ranges) 2 SIGHTERS one 20 second exposure of the target for each shot. FORCED APPLICATION 5 shots - one 20 second exposure of target for each shot TRAIN FIRE 5 shots - one 60 second exposure of target for all 5 shots RAPID FIRE 5 shots - one 30 second exposure of target for all 5 shots SNAP 5 shots -one shot at each exposure of target. Target will be exposed for 3 seconds only and will be down for between 5 and 10 seconds. FRIDAY MATCH 1 Rimfire 30 metres standing MATCH 2 Rimfire 60 metres sitting or knee1ing MATCH 3 Rimfire 90 metres prone MATCH 4 Rimfire Aggregate of Matches 1, 2 and 3 Friday presentation: Rimfire medals, Queens Badges 1 st - 5 th (for the daily aggregate) in each grade, plus prizes. Plus rimfire Novelty events, if time permits. RIMFIRE TARGETS Standard rimfire target Modified rimfire target The Modified target will be used. All the rings are the same size as the Standard target. There will be 2 observers with spotting scopes present at each range for every detail, to inform shooters of the exact location of sighter s. The organising committee retains the right to vary this programme as circumstances dictate.

Safety rules shall apply and are displayed on the Notice Board. GRADING: A 93 and above B 85 to 92 C under 85 Calculated as per Standard Shooting Rules for Field Class Appendix 5 Chapter 17. ENTRY FEE: $55 for both days. BBQ lunch is available for a gold coin donation. STARTING TIME: 8.00 am sharp Entries close 9.15 am MARKING: Paid Markers. COURSE OF FIRE: (for all ranges) 2 SIGHTERS one 20 second exposure of the target for each shot.
