All other areas not changed or otherwise modified by this Addendum shall remain in full force and effect. This Addendum is hereby made an integral part of the ITB document. Bidder must be responsive to any requirements of this Addendum as if the requirements were set forth in the ITB. Failure to do so may result in Bid rejection. See the ITB regarding requests for clarification or change and protests of this Addendum, and the deadlines for the foregoing. This addendum is to be acknowledged in the space provided on the Bidder Certification form supplied in the solicitation document. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum may be cause to reject your offer. CHANGES: The closing date REMAINS: April 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time 1. Section I INTRODUCTION, paragraph nine (9), SOLICITIATION SCHEDULE is amended as follows (changes are italicized): Solicitiation Milestone Date Deadline for questions/substitution requests April 12, Attachment J Drawings, E101W is replaced with the attached revised drawing. 3. Attachment M Whitford Panel Schedules, is added (see attached). 4. Attachment N Highland Park Panel Schedules, is added (see attached). CLARIFICATIONS: Clarifications from March 14, 2018 Pre-Bid Conference and Site Walk The electrical upgrade project is in preparation for HVAC upgrades coming next year or the following year. The main scope of the project is replacing the main switch gear, some of the sub distribution panels and infrastructure for a new PGE transformer. PGE will do the installation of the new transformer. The reason Page 1 of 3

2 we are doing these upgrades is that this equipment is old enough that it does not have an AIC rating on any of the equipment, so the NEC says that you have to go with a 5000K rating. Outside Highland Park boiler room: The new transformer is going in where that sandpit is (across the service road). PGE agreed to dual feed the building for a short duration for both transformers which allows us to get the service up and then you can work to do your downstreams, hookups and connections. The power shut down to the building must be coordinated with the District, and minimized. The switch gear inside the building is over a 24 square trench, so all your wiring and access to it is not in raceways into that switch gear directly. So when some of the switch gear goes away, you are going to have to be capping the exposed sections of trench. Whitford boiler room: You have to change the main gear at the load site of the transfer switch. The new switch gear will need to integrate with the existing pneumatic building controls in both Whitford and Highland Park. Highland Park Custodial Closet: Question: This big panel in here, says it has a contactor panel above it. It s existing to remain assuming it s not connected to something existing to remain. That s something we don t know and we don t know until we open the panel. In order to get a bid from suppliers we need to know what we are putting back. It s a lot easier to put a panel than a contactor panel. Answer: The panel must be replaced as per the solicitation documents. Question: Answer: Is this a full set of plans, there are no panel schedules? See Attachments M and N below for panel schedules. Question: How many panels are being replaced in Highland Park? Should this be run across the service road closer the location of the new chiller? See revised Drawing E101W below. What finishing will be required around the replacement panels? Finishing around replacement panels must match the existing surounding finish. There is a note to match existing. As far as specifications go, are we trying to match existing, brand as well? There are three (3) named manufactuers. Replacement equipment should match what is installed in the school already, for equipment and parts compatibility. Page 2 of 3
