Build company spirit. Build state spirit. IRMCA Mixer Driver competition is the qualifying event for the annual NRMCA National Mixer Driver Championship competition. WHERE: 2015 COMPETITION WILL TAKE PLACE AT JOBSITE SUPPLY, 624 SOUTH MISSOURI STREET INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA WHEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m 3:30 p.m. (or finish). COST: $99.00 per driver submitted. (See Packages offered.) Maximum 2 drivers per company: and one more for companies with over 100 trucks and then one for every 50 additional trucks. 2 2015 INDIANA MIXER DRIVER CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENTS 1. All applicants must be current employees of IRMCA member companies in good standing. 2. All applicants must hold a valid Commercial Driver s License (Class A or B), and current Medical Examiner s Certificate (aka, DOT medical card ). 3. No driver regardless of credentials is guaranteed eligibility. IRMCA reserves the right to eliminate any potential Indiana Mixer Driver Competition (IMDC) competitor for unspecified reasons if the Eligibility Requirements Task Force feels he or she does not appropriately represent the industry and the IMDC event. 4. Entrants of IRMCA MEMBER READY MIXED PRODUCER Companies are eligible to compete in IMDC as long as all other eligibility requirements are met. 5. The winner of the IMDC will be entered into the NRMCA Mixer Driver Championship as long as they are also a member of NRMCA. If not a NRMCA member, the second or third runner up may be eligible to participate in the NRMCA Mixer Driver Championship as determined by the IRMCA Mixer Driver Championship Task Force. 5 WRITTEN EXAM Each driver will be given 1 hour to complete the written exam. There will be a 50 question exam (multiple choice and true/false questions). Exam will include questions drawn from five areas. Study materials suggested: NRMCA Driver s Manual/ CDP Manual. Vehicle Maintenance & Operations Environmental Customer & Company Relations Safety Concrete Knowledge 5

6 TRUCK INSPECTION Each driver will be given 10 minutes to complete a truck inspection. There will be 1 judge per truck. Driver will be awarded 5 points for each defect found. Each truck used will include the same defects. Examples of defects that will be planted on trucks MAY include: Loose or missing lug nut Broken chute lock Loose hose clamp No fire extinguisher in cab Broken tail light lens or light out 6
