8 ORN/PRN - Measures Olympic and Paralympic Route Networks (ORN/PRN) will enable the key participants, such as athletes and officials, to travel safely, securely and efficiently between venues and their accommodation. Measures to improve traffic flow will be proportionate we must keep London moving too! Traffic management measures used to ensure reliable traffic flow and may include: Changes to traffic signal timings Restricted turns Side road closures Suspension/relocation of parking and loading bays Suspension of some pedestrian crossings Temporary Games Lanes ORN/PRN restrictions will only operate when and where they are needed 7

10 ORN/PRN Much of the ORN is Red Route (operated by TfL) so has existing loading controls which are likely to be modified, there are also some sections that are on borough roads, in particular: Greenwich Park through to Royal Artillery Barracks; Wimbledon Parkside through to Wimbledon; Stratford High Street and Leyton Road adjacent to the Olympic Park Blackwall to Silvertown Way / ExCel Arena St James to Whitehall area Euston via Aldwych and Temple Place to Victoria Embankment

28 What this means for you? In the immediate vicinity around venues there will be temporary changes to the local road network - this will impact on your normal routing. Vehicle permit checkpoints - you will still be able to gain access to undertake deliveries and servicing however operational restrictions may apply at certain times. Pedestrian access should be maintained at all times. Temporary parking areas - these will not affect your ability to load and unload normal rules will apply. Active traffic management - means measures will only be in place when absolutely necessary to support venue operations.
