Rules and regulations The tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds. National ratings will not be take into consideration for the pairings. The rate of play will be according to FIDE regulations 90 min for the whole game + 30 sec increase for each move played. Tiebreaks: Results of direct encounters between the tied players (according FIDE), Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, the greater number of games played with black, the greater number of wins. 5. Participants The European Union Youth Championship 2017 was the event with 85 participants from 13 countries participating in 4 age groups: Groups Boys Girls Total Boys + girls U Boys + girls U Boys + girls U Boys + girls U Total Live broadcasting of chess games via the internet All boards were broadcasted live without time delay. 9. Pairings Pairings were prepared by Chief arbiter after all games ends. All pairings and results were published on the and in front of the playing halls on the boards. Chief arbiter sent all results through the Czech Chess Federation to FIDE and all tournaments were rated on September 2018 FRL).
