We stayed positive and good support helped us to win. Lilly Atkin gave up the chance to be bridesmaid for a family friend, but was travelling to the reception with her trophy. She said: It was worth it! Winning squad: Aliya Power, Gabriella Tonev, Lilly Atkin, Sophie Mabbs. Dacorum Dance 2018 Circus On Friday 23rd March 2018 we once again took over Hemel Hempstead Sportspace to host the annual Dance competition for Primary and Secondary Schools. This year we also introduced a KS1 competition to the mix. Schools accepted the challenge of creating a piece around the theme of the Circus and sent in their entry forms. Clare was overwhelmed with the response this year with several new schools wishing to take part. On the night we had 27 performances from both primary and Secondary schools from the district Over 600 spectators, and of course our superb sound and light guys. Cont d on page 2
