From registration Technical meeting 7 th September Opening ceremony competition 8 th September competition closing ceremony and banquet 9 th May departure Venue Budapest, Hungary Shooting Range of the Training Centre of Law Enforcement Organizations Accommodation Hotel Berlin (Budapest) The organizer will provide the transfer from Liszt Ferenc Airport to the hotel according to the traveling details of all the delegations.

2 Competition information IMPORTANT: Competitors must be qualified (i.e., some type of formal training for safety purposes) with their weapons and familiar with range safety. Each team may enter up to two competitors in each category. Categories: Disciplines: Individual event for men Individual event for women Team event (the two individual competitors will form the team) exercises are modelling situations which might occur in the line of duty. Equipment Weapons, holsters: No modified weapons allowed. Must be factory manufactured weapon with no internal or external modification. Handguns and holsters which are truly suitable for police duty required. Magazine: two spare magazines Ammunition: 250/shooter Clothing: field uniform used in the police force of the country of the competitor. Additional equipment: holster, at least level II. with snap or velcro magazine carrier (double) at least level II. with snap or velcro service belt baton with carrier handcuff and carrier light with carrier Targets: paper, steel, falling, moving. Targets will be presented before each stage. Scoring: Paper targets Hit in the designated area + 0 sec Hit outside of the area +5 and +10 sec No hit on the target + 20 sec Hit on no shoot target +45 sec In case of more hits the better ones count (except stages where the numbers of shots are determined, more hits +20 sec each) Steel targets: Ceramic targets: falls down or turns at least by 90 degrees target must break 2

3 Number of stages: the number of stages depends on the final number of shooters. Safety rules Eye and ear protection is mandatory (every participant has to provide them) Competitors are permitted to use safety areas to casing, uncasing and holstering unloaded firearms. Firearms have to be carried on the range without magazine, unloaded and holstered. Safety rod provided by the organizers must be used. Firearms must only be loaded on the command of the Range Officer. At the end of each stage competitor must show the cleared firearm to the Range Officer. While on the stage muzzle must point within the safe angles. Firing finger, other than firing a shot must be on the trigger guard. Executing the exercise other than written in the stage briefing: +30 sec/each shot. Failure to comply with the safety rules: on the certain stage +500 sec. Colonel Sándor Nagy Range Master Any protest must be filed in writing in English within one hour after the respective stage is over. The protest fee is 200,00 EUR. Draw The draw will take place on September 6 th at hours in Hotel Berlin Technical Meeting The Technical Meeting with officials, delegates and coaches will take place on the 6 th of September from till hours in Hotel Berlin. Referees The organizing committee may enter as many referees as required for the good realisation of the World Cup. Official language 3

4 Competitors must be conversant in English or they must be accompanied by an English speaking observer. The observer must be registered also. Entry fee 200 EUR/person. Includes: full board accommodation during the time of the competition transfer between the range and the accommodation transfer between Budapest airport and the hotel closing banquet. The entry fee must be transferred. The organizer does not accept payment in cash. VISA Participants who need visa to entry into Hungary can obtain it from the Hungarian consulate of their country.
