3 Introduction: Welcome to TKB Racing, we are a family run, totally privateer, Supermoto racing team competing in a number of domestic Supermoto championships, including the pinnacle of the sport in the UK, the British Supermoto Championship. Having decided to make the switch from motocross to Supermoto racing at the end of 2011 there is substantial evidence that both our team riders have adapted well to the new discipline. Tom, Kayla, and Charlie our team riders, developed their race craft from an early age competing in a number of motocross championships while gaining many top honours along the way. Our ultimate aim is to ensure the team riders progress within the chosen field of Supermoto while representing supporting partners in a professional high profile manner. Uniqueness to Our Team: You will have heard of many family run teams comprising of siblings racing alongside each other and paddocks across the UK and the World are made up of brothers, or sons and fathers racing. However, not many teams consist of brother and sister going head to head on track..! Yes, Tom (20 years old) and Kayla (16 years old)are brother and sister which presents many media opportunities for their joint success to be promoted across a multitude of arenas, such as magazine articles, radio interviews and ultimately TV coverage. Charlie is also a young rider who is following in their footsteps a year s less experience than Tom and Kayla he was our guest rider for 2013 and a full team member for Tom, Kayla and Charlie work exceptionally well as a team and represent themselves, sponsors and the team with the upmost professionalism both on and off the track. Add to this the youthfulness of the riders competing with and fending off much more mature riders, then we believe there are more than your average media opportunities surrounding the TKB brand. Objectives of This Proposal: Through the content of this proposal you will discover more about the sport of Supermoto and the achievements of the team and its riders, however the ultimate objective is to present a case where we can work in partnership with your company / brand throughout the 2015 season. In doing so represent you in a professional manner bringing added media attention to your business/ products. 4 Tom Barrington Age 20 Tom has adapted to the change from motocross to Supermoto with incredible speed. He won the first three races he entered, one with a flat tyre! Tom quickly moved up the groups and was consistently on podiums amongst riders that are much more experienced in this discipline in the 2013 season. He started competing in motocross by chance when he was 7 years old and has remained committed to motorbike racing ever since, having recently started an apprenticeship in motorcycle maintenance. His main aspiration is of becoming the team race mechanic and possibly a test rider in the future. Tom moved through many stages of motocross on many different bikes from 50cc 450cc machines giving him the strength and knowledge of bike control to use as a foundation for future experiences. Tom and his sister made the switch into Supermoto at the beginning of 2012 and he won his first Supermoto championship the Michelin cup in Tom moved into the Elite groups for the 2014 season and has ambitions to ultimately to be at the very front of this group. During Tom s career to date he has achieved: Schoolboy motocross race wins, 2 day event wins and end of year club championship wins Race wins in Supermoto group C therefore being promoted to group B Race wins in group B races and numerous podium finishes in his first SSM Numerous podium finishes and race wins in the Michelin cup and Open National races in 2013 Supermoto first year th Intermediate group Southern Supermoto Championship 8th British Masters Series Supermoto second year st in the Michellin Cup 6 th in the Open National 5th in the British Masters Series Norasport race wins in both Michelin Cup and Open Nationals Supermoto third year 2014 Continuously finishing inside top 20 (occasionally top 15) in the Elite Class

5 Kayla Barrington Age 16 At just fifteen years old Kayla took the Supermoto scene by storm and was a regular runner at the front of the field fending off more mature and experience riders in her first few years of Supermoto. Since the age of four Kayla has focused her attentions on all things two wheels and from the very first ride on a Yamaha PW50 it was clear she would be destined to take up some form of bike sport in the future. As soon as Kayla reached six years of age she secured her Motocross licence lice and began competing aboard a KTM 50cc auto. Which gave her a solid grounding in the art of race craft which would see her rise through the ranks of this physical and competitive sport. Having competed in Motocross since 2004 Kayla decided, along with her brother and team mate, mate in 2012 to try their hand at Supermoto racing. Ultimately Kayla has ambitions to reach the heights of motorcycle sport, which may in future years rival Maria Costello MBE and the fastest female rider round the TT course and BSB star Jenny Tinmouth. Kayla moved into the Elite groups for the 2014 season and has ambitions to ultimately to be at the very front of this group. During Kayla s career to date she has achieved: Third place podium finish girls nationals when only six years old Finished inside the top 10 of every girl s nationals meeting throughout her motocross career except when injured Schoolboy club wins, twoday day event wins and end of year championship podium finishes in motocross Supermoto first year 2012 Novice rider off the year (voted by fellow riders) 4th Novice group 17th British Masters Supermoto second year 2013 Southern Supermoto Riders rider of the year (voted by fellow riders) Norasport Rider of the year 1st in the Intermediate group Southern Supermoto Championship 3rd in the British Masters Series 3rd in the Michelin Cup 3rd in the Open National Supermoto third year 2014 First female rider to compete in the Elites Part of Junior team GB competing in the Supermoto of Nations Continuously finishing inside the top 20 (occasionally top 15) in the Elite Class

6 Charlie Light Age 16 Charlie was introduced to TKB at a motocross practice field by mutual friends in the winter of We all got on straight away and he was asked if he would like to be our guest rider for the 2013 season. Charlie started riding motocross bikes from the age of 5 and started to compete at club level in Charlie rode competitively for a few years and was Never outside the top 10 in his groups. Living on a farm, Charlie found committing the time to competing difficult And therefore his riding mainly consisted of riding around The farmland. In 2011 Charlie was asked to ride as a travelling marshal at a Supermoto event and loved every minute of it. Again his parent s commitments to the farm prevented him from being able to participate for a complete season until TKB stepped in with Kayla s 250cc Supermoto bike. Charlie started the 2013 season with an amazing 3 rd overall in the Novice class in his first ever weekends racing. Charlie continued to show great promise throughout the year accompanying TKB whenever he could. His riding improved race on race until he was consistently qualifying in the National A group at Nora. Towards the end of the season it was decided he could progress onto a 450. Still only the tender age of 15 he was determined to be more competitive even amongst riders considerably older and more experienced than him. For the 2014 season Charlie became the British Championship meetings. During Charlie s career to date he has achieved: Schoolboy motocross top 6 finishes overall and in individual races. Podium finishes and race wins in the Southern Supermoto championships and Norasport British Supermoto championship. Supermoto first year th Michelin Cup 21 st Open National 2 nd Southern Supermoto Novice Group 6 th British Masters series Voted Best Novice rider of the year Supermoto second year 2014 a full member of TKB and would accompany the team to ride at most of Charlie was asked to be a full member of team TKB for this season and represent the team in the Michelin Cup and Open National championship at the British Championships. So far this year he has achieved: Race win in the Michelin cup at Rednal Karting, leading to 3 rd overall. Numerous top 6 finishes in both groups.

7 What is Supermoto? Supermoto is a combination of superbike and motocross racing where the bikes derive from basically motocross machinery with road tyres and wheels and modifications to brakes, suspension and engine performance. Circuits are approximately 75% tarmac and 25% off road (which includes jumps), although this can vary from circuit to circuit, where each hold particular challenges to both rider and bike. Since introduction into the UK Supermoto has gone from strength to strength with many of today s top superbike riders deriving from the sport, this includes Christian Iddon, Sam Warren, Keith Farmer, Chris Walker and even the TT legend that is John McGuiness has tried his hand at the sport! Proposed outcomes for 2015 Season 2015 holds exciting prospects for team TKB with Tom and Kayla attempting to move up through the Elite Class of the British Supermoto Championship and Charlie in the Michelin Cup & National class. To have achieved such a status already the riders are considered to be at the very top of their sport in the UK. Tom and Kayla continuing to compete in the Elite Class allows them to gain significant interest from the media and sponsors alike. Moreover, to move up through the championship ranks in such a short period of time does give prospective sponsors the insight into the potential our riders have and the need to consider being part of the further success of the team. Elite class riders have exclusive You Tube coverage by two wheels two strokes forever with regular broadcasts of the championship being aired. The Supermoto of Nations was filmed and on the Motors TV channel across Europe, as will the final round of the Supermoto British Championship at Cadwell Park. Outcomes for 2015 include: Further developments of all team bikes, enhancing them to ensure equal power outputs with fellow competitors machinery Compete in the British Supermoto Championship Record top ten finish in the overall 2015 Elite Class Championships Undertake preseason testing to enable bike and rider preparation to be at optimum level Organise and run, in partnership with Rednal karting, the Supermoto Extravaganza and possibly more track days. 8 Team TKB Suggested Support In order to make an effective challenge in the British Supermoto Elite and National classes we would welcome any support in the following areas: Financial support toward fuel costs for transportation and race bikes Help and support with entry fees Free or discounted consumable items such as oil, chains and tyres Help and support to purchase race kit Inc. Helmets, Leathers, Boots and Gloves Support toward branded team wear and promotional items such as banners and posters We would also welcome any other suggestions you have to assist in our aims for the 2015 race season. Conclusion: We hope this short proposal has provided you with a snapshot of the aims and objectives of Team TKB, given you a background into our three riders pedigree and further potential for rising to stardom in the world of Supermoto. We have aimed to keep the proposal brief so as to encourage you to discuss further how we can work together in 2015 and hopefully beyond. Although our wish list covers allocation of support for the season we are open to discussions and negotiations in order to arrive at a compromise that helps both organisations in the partnership. 10 How we have supported/promoted our sponsors during the 2014 season. All of the TKB bikes carry our sponsor s logos and these are visible whenever ridden both in the UK and abroad. All TKB team members wear team clothing which carry the logos of our sponsors at any racing linked event. There are also sponsors Logo s on our race truck. We attended the reopening opening of Mallory Mall Park and handed out leaflets, goody bags etc. with our sponsors details to the many visitors present. We have run track days where we have put up banners promoting our sponsors, given out prizes donated by them and publicly announced their involvement within the meeting. Invited sponsors to come along to our track days to promote their products. products We send reports and updates to sponsors that wish to hear our news and post achievements to the sponsor s facebook pages. Kayla has been in the Italian ian papers due due to her competing in the Supermoto of nations in Cremona, Italy. Her leathers clearly rly displaying the logos of our sponsors. We are currently in talks with local and National press to organise some press releases to promote the team and our sponsors. Both h riders on board footage has been used in you tube productions by 2wheel2strokes4ever, 2wheel2strokes4 ( which receives well over 60,000 views per showing. The on board footage has also been shared worldwide from our facebook page. Kayla has been interviewed by TV presenters from Bike World TV. All sponsors logo s and credits are on our website which gets approx. 400 hits a month again worldwide.
