NOTE: Age is as of 31 st December All players must be registered before they take the court for the first time.
4 Fill-in players who don t have a registration for 2019, they can purchase a Single Game Voucher (SGV) for $10.00, which will give that player a temporary registration for that day of competition only. This is to be used on the day of purchase only and not transferable for other days. 4. Player Movement For the 2019 Autumn season, players moving clubs/teams from Spring 2018 do not need to seek a clearance. Once the season has commenced if players want to transfer to a different club/team, the new Club must apply for a clearance through the MyNetball system. A clearance must be approved and granted before a player can participate for their new Club/Team. This only applies if the player is changing between Clubs/Teams on the same day/night of competition. 5. Club Contact Details The Parkville Netball Coordinator should be advised in writing of any changes to Club/Team Contacts during or between seasons. It is essential that contact details are accurate and current, otherwise important information may not be passed on to the Club/Team or its members. All correspondence with the Competition Office shall be made through the nominated Club/Team Contact only. 6. Court fees Court fees are listed on your entry form. All teams are invoiced for the season; Monday Open, Thursday Open and Sunday Night Mixed Teams have the option of paying court fees weekly or upfront in a lump sum payment. Failure to pay court fees on time may result in your Club/Team s non-acceptance into future Competitions. All Tuesday Premier Open & 17 & U, Thursday 15& U & Saturday Junior court fees must be paid by Round 7 of their Competition. 7. Team Umpiring All Clubs/Teams must appoint an umpire that is the standard of the grade that they are officiating in. Club are required to supply Name, Badge, Theory Mark & Course Date of their team umpire to the office with the entry form. Team Umpires should not umpire more than 3 matches in total for any Club/Team on any competition night/day. The Competition reserves the right to replace an umpire if that said umpire is not to the standard of the grade in which they are officiating. In the event of a forfeit or cancellation, it is the Club s responsibility to notify their umpire. 8. By-Laws/Codes Of Conduct Parkville Netball Codes of Conduct & By-Laws are accessible via the website - All Clubs/Teams are expected to obey Parkville Netball Rules and Regulations as a condition of their acceptance into the Competition. 9. Wet and Hot Weather Information will be posted on the Parkville Netball Facebook Page Where possible, if there is a cancellation, an SMS will also be sent out to players who have provided their mobile phone numbers.
5 10. Working with Children Checks (WWCC) Under Victorian State Government regulations which came into effect on the 1 st August 2017, all Clubs and Teams which have junior players under the age of 18, must have all of their staff and volunteers who hold positions of authority pass a Working with Children Check. It is the responsibility of all Clubs and Teams to provide the Competition with details of all current WWCC or submissions for an application for a check. Clubs must also view Team Umpires in the same way as Coaches and Team Managers and therefore are subject to the same prerequisites as them. With Tuesday Premier 17 & Under, Thursday 15 & Under and Saturday Junior competitions, where Clubs are to provide Team Umpires for all fixtured matches, WWCC information must be provided for all of these individual umpires as well. If umpires are sourced through a third-party agency or representative, it is still the Clubs responsibility to obtain WWCC details for these umpires and provide them to the Competition Office. If WWCC details are not provided, strict penalties will apply. 11. Outdoor Competitions/Duty team All Clubs/Teams playing outdoors are required to assist with sweeping the water and puddles from the courts prior to the start of play at each round, to ensure that scheduled matches commence on time. Clubs/Teams playing in Saturday Juniors are required to assist with adjusting goal post and padding, if they are scheduled to be on the courts at that time. 12. Forfeits Should a Team be in a position where it needs to forfeit their scheduled match, the Team s Club Contact must notify the Competition Office prior to 12:00pm on the day of the match. If a Team within a Club needs to give a forfeit, then only the nominated Club Contact can inform the Competition Office. Failure to do so before this deadline will result in a forfeit fine being incurred. Where possible, an SMS will also be sent out to the individual players for the team affected. 13. Fixtures Fixtures for all competitions will be available on the website 10 days prior to the commencement of the season. All competition fixtures, results, and ladders can be found on the Parkville Netball website at First Aid The Competition offers basic first aid. We offer the services of a trained First Aid Attendant for all scheduled matches. First Aid Attendants may assist with strapping, but are not obliged to do so, and only if the player provides their own tape. Rolls of tape are available to be purchased from the Competition Office. 15. Team List Clubs are to submit their Team Lists through MyNetball when they enter into the Competition. The maximum number of players on a team list is 12. Clubs can make changes to individual teams, if they need a fill-in, and this is also done through MyNetball. Any changes to teams for a particular match must be entered before 4:00pm on the day of the match, to ensure that the scoresheets reflect these changes. For stand-alone entity teams, if you have fill-in players, please indicate who they are on the scoresheet and that they are only fill-ins. They will be credited with the match but will not appear on your score sheet for that team the following week.
6 If a player has taken to the court and doesn t appear on the scoresheet, the player s full details need to be supplied on the back of the scoresheet to ensure that the correct member is credited. Information must include: 1. MyNetball number (if available) 2. Full name 3. Date of Birth 4. Suburb of Residence 16. Scorers All teams participating at Parkville Netball should supply a non-playing scorer. One Team s scorer will fill in the scoresheet, and must have neat and legible handwriting, while the other scorer operates the score board. Both scorers must regularly check with each other to confirm that the scores are correct. Scorers must indicate the correct players taking to the court for the match. Failure to do this will result in players not being credited with a match which counts towards qualifying for finals, as well as jeopardizing any insurance claims. 17. Promotional Photos All teams playing at Parkville Netball may be photographed for promotional use. 18. Umpire Development All umpires umpiring for Parkville Netball may be photographed or videoed as part of their development 19.
