1 CHARLESTOWN NETBALL ASSOCIATION INC REGISTRATION INFORMATION Please read this information and keep it for future reference. 1. REGISTRATIONS Registrations will only be accepted on Registration Forms supplied. These forms with Player Membership Forms will be accepted between 1.30pm-3.30pm at Bula Street Complex on 5 th March PLAYER REGISTRATIONS: Complete Details for seven (7) players to be on Registration Sheet before it will be accepted. All Registration details must be fully and carefully completed. Each Club is to nominate one Committee person to sight all Proof of Age Documents and inform the Association Secretary of the nominated person. Any alteration to player s names during the season must be recorded with the Registrar before the player takes the court. Players who marry during the season must abide by this rule. Proof of name change to be shown to Registrar when completing relevant form. Should duplication occur with team names then team will be asked to change their name. 2. UNIFORMS Uniforms must be approved by Association Registrar before purchasing. Should duplication of any uniforms occur then team will be asked to change colour. 3. DAY REGISTRATIONS A player may register to play with a team for a day. The player must register at the Office, fill in Membership Form and have her uniform checked. If the team uniform is not available then the player may play in suitable white clothing. Registration must be completed before the player takes the court to play. Only three (3) games in white are permitted. COST: $10.00 per game Full Registration payment to be completed on or before playing 3 rd game

2 4. GRADING: Grading will be paper graded but some teams may be required to attend physical grading - these teams will be notified as soon as possible. If team requested to attend grading, all players in team must attend grading as team could be graded higher than required. ATTACHED GRADING FORM TO BE COMPLETED 5. COMPETITION First day of play 2 April Wet Weather Fixtures postponed due to wet weather - two by half games will be played the following week of play. CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WET WEATHER All wet weather information can be found on our web site or you can download the app to your phone. 6. UMPIRING FAILURE TO UMPIRE INCURS TEAM FINES! Junior Teams: Intermediate Teams: Senior Teams: Up to and including 12 years Loss 3 points Loss of 3 Points per umpire Loss of 3 points per umpire & $55.00 per umpire TEAMS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A DRAW AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE DRAW CAREFULLY AS FINES AND LOSS OF POINTS WILL APPLY. COMPULSORY UMPIRE LECTURES N.S.W.N.A. Ltd. UMPIRES EXAM Compulsory Umpires Lectures/Practical: Two unbadged players from each team must attend, but more may attend if you wish. Each player will receive a bonus point for attending to a maximum of two points per team. Cadets/Seniors: 5 or 7 April 2016 (6:30pm 8:00pm) Cadets/Seniors: 27 April 2016 (6:30pm 8:00pm) Teams can attend any night. If a Club Team they must be represented by two (2) Nominated Club Delegates who are to be members of Charlestown Netball Association Inc. One delegate to be on the Club s Committee and not on Charlestown Netball Association s Executive Committee. Clubs can also supply the names of two (2) Proxy Delegates

4 9. NIGHT TRAINING Lights for training will only be available on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. There will be no fees for lights as it is covered in the Registration Fee. No of Lights: Please contact CNA Secretary with your team name and what night and times you will be training, so we know the number of lights to turn on. 10. CANTEEN ROSTER A Canteen Roster will be handed out with the Fixtures Sheet. Please read this carefully. Your team will be allocated a time for Canteen Duty. 11. FIXTURES All Teams are supplied with a Games Fixtures, Umpire Fixtures and a set of Score Sheets. Please read score sheet information very carefully as points will be deducted for incorrect score sheets. Candidates for Election of Life Members must be nominated by two (2) members of CNA at least one (1) month before the meeting at which such nominations shall be considered. The nomination must be approved by a majority of at least two-thirds of the member present and voting at an Annual General Meeting ESSI TONEGUZZI SERVICE AWARD: Any person can be nominated for the Essie Toneguzzi Service Award in recognition for the service they provide to the Association and Members. Candidates for the Service Award must be nominated by two (2) members of CNA at least one (1) month before the meeting at which such nominations shall be considered. The nomination must be approved by a majority of at least two-thirds of the member present and voting at an Annual General Meeting
