1 Netball NI Workshop Brochure Netball NI has a range of CPD workshops for coaches, club volunteers, club parents and umpires in addition to any larger events advertised on the Netball NI Calendar which can be found at These workshops below are not initially advertised on the Netball NI Events online booking platform, instead they can be booked by following the process described below: Seven step process 1. Club, school, group or other organisation decide the workshop of interest 2. Club, school, group or other organisation identify two to three dates and a suitable venue 3. Lead organiser contacts clubandworkforce@netballni.org with the above details and a list of participant names and contact details 4. Lead organiser ensures payment (where relevant) has been made to Netball NI for all participants by cash, cheque or BACS payment 5. Once some payments have been received, NNI will offer the workshop out to other organisations via the Netball NI Events online booking platform 6. Netball NI will book the venue 7. Netball NI will liaise with the facilitator and confirm the date and venue to the lead organiser and other interested organisations The process above applies for booking of Sport NI workshops as well. For more information please contact clubandworkforce@netballni.org Coaching UKCC Level 1 Bolt-on Structuring a session, practice and practice progressions Recap for coaches or those looking to become qualified 4 hours in the evening (can be reduced) Lead organisation - 5 per person paid by cheque or via BACS. 10 per person for people from other organisations Tom Causer

2 Inclusive Coaching How to include players with a physical, learning or sensory disability and coaches May vary depending on course ( 10/ 15) NI Judo run this as a revalidation workshop for its members, which also includes a 2 hour practical session. Spaces may open up to attend the theory section. Vicki Kennedy (NI Judo) Bespoke Coaching The process for bespoke coaching opportunities is different to other workshops, see below: One to One mentoring Facilitators: Process: Individual learning/development support as part of the RELATE Programme In situ e.g. the coaches club or locations near to both parties Coaches operating in clubs and community settings As and when the coach and mentor can meet with coaches expected to attend workshops N/A Mentors matched with coaches personality, location, needs and skills Interested coaches should contact clubandworkforce@netballni.org Club Hosted Coach Development Workshops Content, topics and aims to be decided by clubs At the club venue, mixture of classroom and on court Coaches operating in affiliated clubs and community settings feeding clubs 1-2 hours depending on the clubs training night for the club hosting the workshop, 10 for other coaches There is no minimum however head coaches must be present Facilitators: Scott McNeill (GB Hockey Performance Coach Developer) Process: 1. Club discusses content, topics and aims with clubandworkforce@netballni.org 2. Club identifies two to three dates 3. Club contacts clubandworkforce@netballni.org with the dates 4. Netball NI confirms to club the night the workshop will take place 5. Netball NI offers the workshop to other clubs in the area via
