1 i 2018 Service Agreement Welcome to the 2018 Service Agreement Following is a brief overview of the benefits and inclusions you will receive with your Netball SA membership. Key benefits of membership include: 1. Insurance coverage under the National Risk Management Program; including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Personal Accident, Property and Association Liability (Directors and Officers) 2. Coach Development and Pathways; including accreditation support, workshops, mentoring, and resources 3. Umpire Development and Pathways; including badging support, workshops, development programs, mentoring, testing) 4. Player Development and Pathways; including NetSetGO program, clinics, regional and metropolitan academies, talent identification, high performance, resources) 5. Community Development; including netball specialist schools, One Netball, school clinics, Fast5 netball, inclusion programs 6. Management and Administration; including Constitution and Regulations, policies, volunteer support, facility development, grant support, complaint handling, MyNetball support, member protection 7. Affiliation with the national body, Netball Australia.

2 Membership Fees The 2018 Netball SA player registration fees are as follows: METROPOLITAN MEMBER ASSOCIATION Southern United/SA Districts/Elizabeth Winter competition Senior $52.00 Junior $43.00 Summer competition Senior $52.00 Junior $43.00 Winter competition registered players who also participate in the summer competition are only required to pay an additional competition fee: Senior $32.10 Junior $25.30 COUNTRY MEMBER ASSOCIATION Senior $51.50 per year Junior $42.00 per year MEMBER ASSOCIATION DISABILITY GRADES / COMPETITIONS Senior $29.50 per year Junior $29.50 per year The 2018 Netball SA Coaches Umpires Association membership fee is as follows: COACHES UMPIRES ASSOCIATION Senior $28.50 per year Junior $28.50 per year

3 Affiliation Process Following is a guide to the affiliation process for the period 1 January December 2018 and takes effect from the 2018 winter season. Step 1 30 November Service Agreements are to be completed and returned to Netball SA by 30 November Step 2 30 November 2017 Netball SA will invoice your Association for the deposit amount. The deposit is due to be paid to Netball SA by 30 November Direct Debit options are available. Deposit is based on previous seasons registered player numbers The affiliation deposit is determined as follows. Associations with up to 150 Registered Players $1,000 deposit Associations with Registered Players $3,000 deposit Associations with Registered Players $5,000 deposit Associations with Registered Players $6,000 deposit Associations with 701+ Registered Players $7,000 deposit Step 3 31 March 2018 An invoice for 75% of your affiliation fees (less the deposit already paid), will be sent out on 1 March 2018, this payment is due to Netball SA by 31 March Figure is based on previous seasons registered player numbers. Step 4 30 June 2018 All registered players are to be on the MyNetball database. Any players not current in the MyNetball database by this date will not be covered by the insurance policy. For information relating to MyNetball please contact Shanna Wheare p: or e: shanna.wheare@netballsa.asn.au Step 5 30 June 2018 Pay final installment amount by 30 June 2018 Based on actual registered player numbers Please Note: Netball SA will review player numbers entered on the database as at 31 August 2018 and associations will be invoiced for any difference in final player numbers. Once final invoices have been issued any queries or adjustments to final numbers are to be received within 7 days of the date of the invoice. No adjustments can be made after this time.

4 Membership Categories Divisions A Division is a body wishing to organize a program of interclub matches on behalf of Netball SA (Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division and City Night Division). Membership of at least 700 players required. Member Associations A Member Association is a body wishing to organize and control its own competition and to control and manage its own affairs and members. Member Associations have a representative on the Netball SA Council. Member Clubs A Member Club is one or more teams wishing to play in interclub matches conducted by Netball SA through its Divisions or competitions run by Member Associations. Honorary Associate Associations An Honorary Associate Association is an educational body which conducts and controls a netball competition for primary and/or secondary students and manages its own affairs and oversees the affairs of its members. Coaches and Umpires Coaches and umpires are persons who are members of the Netball SA Coaches Umpires Association. Any coach or umpire may apply to become a member of the Coaches Umpires Association. Individual Member An Individual Member is a person who has had involvement, either past of present, in the sport of netball who makes application for and is accepted as an Individual Member of the Association. Requirements and rights of membership for the various categories are set out in the Netball SA Constitution and Regulations. Please visit the Netball SA website to view a copy online. Carnivals It is a requirement of Netball Australia that Associations be affiliated with Netball SA if they wish to take part in endorsed netball carnivals, competitions or events held within South Australia or in another State or Territory. All applications to participate in carnivals should show the endorsement of the Member Association with whom they are affiliated. No Association carnivals are to be programmed on the same date as the Priceline Pharmacy Country Championships held annually on the long weekend in June. No Association or affiliated Club may take part in carnivals or competitions conducted by any nonaffiliated body.

5 Our commitment to you Netball SA will: - Work to secure the ongoing development of netball in South Australia by continuing to develop and implement its strategic and operational plans. - Identify and reduce the barriers that impact on participation of netball in South Australia. - Actively promote and market the sport of netball as a whole and work to assist Member Associations to profile netball at the local level. - Manage and maintain netball s statewide communication network. - Manage and maintain the affiliation system, inclusive of the technology platform (MyNetball). - Cover member association affiliates under the Netball SA insurance policy. - Build on the capabilities of Associations and affiliated Clubs through providing relevant professional development opportunities for Member Association personnel. - Develop and deliver progressive coach, umpire and player development and talent identification programs. - Support member association personnel within the regional network and act in an advocacy role in any matters pertaining to netball. - Coordinate and manage Netball SA events and competitions. - Provide leadership in the development of Netball specific policies and procedures. - Respond promptly and professionally to issues raised and requiring Netball SA office and/or Board attention. - Offer Member Services to all affiliated players and officials (coaches, umpires, administrators and committee members) of the Member Association subject to the provisions of the Constitution and Regulations of Netball SA.

6 Your commitment Our Association will: - Recognise and support the authority of Netball SA in all matters pertaining to netball in South Australia. - Recognise the Constitution and Regulations of Netball SA. - Be an Incorporated Association in South Australia. - Have a Constitution and By-Laws/Regulations, which is aligned to the purposes of Netball SA. - Be a financial member of Netball SA by payment of all affiliation fees levied by Netball SA. - Ensure all players and officials affiliated with it during the calendar year of 2018 are correctly entered and registered on the MyNetball database and pay the relevant affiliation fees due within the Service Agreement timeframes. - Ensure Association and affiliated Club contact information is current on the MyNetball database; - Support initiatives and strategies in the Netball SA Strategic Plan, including: - Netball SA Events - Netball SA Programs and Guidelines - Netball SA Policies and Procedures - Act as a positive advocate for netball and Netball SA in the local community. - Be proactively communicating with Netball SA on issues of concern. - Adhere to the legislative requirements of the Child Protection Act 1993 and provide a child safe environment for members.
