Six Pac-12 coaches have guided a team to the Sweet 16, Ernie Kent and Sean Miller have reached the Elite Eight, and Dana Altman led Oregon to the 2017 Final Four. Three of the Pac-12 s coaches were both drafted and played in the NBA (Alford, Hurley, Krystkowiak). The other Power 6 conferences have five combined NBA draftees and players (Bryce Drew, Patrick Ewing, Danny Manning, Chris Mullin, Cuonzo Martin). NCAA Division I national championships won by Pac-12 coaches as players (Hurley 1991, 1992; Alford 1987). In total, current Pac-12 coaches played in 29 postseasons (21 NCAAs, 8 NITs), including 11 trips to the Sweet 16 and four national title games. Three Pac-12 coaches were named CoSIDA Academic All-Americans during their collegiate careers (Enfield, Haase, Krystkowiak). Two Pac-12 coaches earned First Team All-America honors during their playing careers (Hurley, Alford), three total among the other Power 6 conferences (Ewing, Manning, Mullin).
