Both teams won their season-opening games last Saturday, with St. Norbert topping Carthage and North Park defeating Concordia-Wisconsin. Broadcast: Live video and stats links will be posted prior to the game at: The Series: St. Norbert and North Park have never met in football. This is the only scheduled meeting between the Green Knights and Vikings, as the twoyear scheduling agreement between the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association ends after this season. St. Norbert is considered the eighth MIAA opponent to balance out the schedule against the eight-member CCIW. The Green Knights led 20-0 at halftime and cruised to victory. The Green Knights put up 356 yards of total offense, getting 191 yards through the air and 165 yards on the ground. Sophomore quarterback Jack Becker, making his first collegiate start, completed 15 of 19 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore running back Elijah Fort had a team-high 79 yards rushing on eight carries, including 66 yards on a second-quarter touchdown run. Sophomore wide receiver Marty Franzkowiak caught six passes for 21 yards. Senior running back Brad Boockmeier caught four passes for 36 yards, including a 30- yard touchdown in the first quarter, and also had 40 yards rushing on nine carries. Senior linebacker R.J. Callow posted a team-high 10 tackles, and also had the Green Knights lone quarterback sack. Sophomore defensive back Tyler Jensen had eight tackles, while junior defensive back Ryan Grandlic had five tackles and recorded an interception and a fumble recovery. Senior defensive back Frank Laterza had two interceptions, including an 84-yard return for a touchdown. St. Norbert is averaging 35.0 points and yards per game. Defensively, the Green Knights are allowing 6.0 points and yards per game. About the Vikings: North Park began its 2015 season with a road win at Concordia- Wisconsin this past Saturday. The Vikings trailed in the third quarter before scoring the last 10 points of the game to pull out the road win. Junior quarterback T.D. Conway completed 26 of 55 passes for 283 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions against Concordia. Freshman running back Kvonte Spearman had 81 yards rushing on 12 carries and also had six receptions for 50 yards. Sophomore wide receiver Jordan Turner had five receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown. Sophomore wide receiver Devin Childress, who caught 14 touchdown passes last season, had three catches for 54 yards. Senior linebacker Brendon Dull finished with a team-high 13 tackles for North Park against Concordia. Sophomore linebacker Chaun Maiava totaled 12 tackles with two quarterback sacks, while senior linebacker Joe Butz made nine stops with one quarterback sack. North Park is averaging 23.0 points and yards per game. Defensively, the Vikings are allowing 16.0 points and yards per game. Turnover Time: St. Norbert forced six turnovers in this past Saturday s 35-6 win over Carthage. The Green Knights snared four interceptions and also recovered a pair of Red Men fumbles. The St. Norbert offense did not commit a turnover to finish a plussix in turnover margin. The four interceptions by the St. Norbert defense matched the entire 2014 season total for the Green Knights. St. Norbert last forced at least six turnovers in a game when it had seven takeaways in a 23-0 win over Grinnell on Nov. 9, 2013 at Schneider Stadium. The Green Knights defense absconded with five interceptions and recovered two fumbles. Opener Observations: St. Norbert s 29-point margin of victory in this past Saturday s 35-6 win over Carthage was its highest margin of victory in a season opener in over 30 years. The Green Knights last won a season opener by at least 29 points in a 30-0 shutout of Monmouth on Sept. 11, 1982 at Minahan Stadium in De Pere. The 29-point win over Carthage was also the sixth-largest openingday win in school history. St. Norbert has had two 54-0 wins

Laterza returned his second interception 84 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. It marked the fourth-longest interception return for a touchdown in school history. Chris Manlick holds the school record with a 100-yard return against Monmouth on Oct. 6, Tyler Belisle had a 98-yard return against Beloit on Oct. 28, 2006, while Joe Schlueter had an 85-yard return for a score against Knox on Sept. 14, Quick Hitters: * - St. Norbert has extended its streak of made field-goal attempts to 10, which dates back to the sixth game of the 2014 season.
