Tip-off from Kingsville, Texas is scheduled for 5:30pm. The Dustdevils come into Tuesday's game after falling to the Javelinas at home on Saturday, November 18. A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES: The Dustdevils and Javelinas have faced off 18 times in each programs history with Kingsville holding a 10-8 advantage in those matchups. The teams played twice last year with one game in each teams gym with TAMUK taking both games. SCOUTING THE JAVELINAS: The Javelinas enter Tuesday's game at.500 with a 2-2 record after Saturday's win. Tuesday's game will mark the end of a two-game series between the teams this season. KINGSVILLE'S L GAME: Kingsville had four players end the game in double digits, led by 15 from Shaq Debose. Emmeri Archer also contributed 10 points on five-of-seven shooting. For Wilson this represented her second double-double in as many games. On defense, the Javelinas held TAMIU to 27.9% from the floor and out-rebounded the Dustdevils, JAVELINA LEADERS: Angelica Wilson leads the team in scoring with 35 points (8.8ppg). Tatyana McFarland leads the pack when it comes to rebounds, averaging 10 per game. Victoria Salinas is TAMUK's sharpshooter, draining five from behind the arc this season. DUSTDEVIL LEADERS: Tantashea Giger leads the Dustdevils with 72 points through four games. The Junior is averaging 18 points per game thus far. Julia Hanni has been a force on the glass, grabbing 25 rebounds, averaging 6.3 rebounds per game. Passionate Amukamara has been on her toes defensively, snagging 10 steals through four games. The Dustdevils are averaging 56.5 points per game this season. shooting 30.7% from the field. TAMIU is shooting 29.2% from behind the arc, where the Dustdevils have made 26 three-point field goals. The Dustdevils are playing their best offensive quarters in the second and fourth when TAMIU has scored 59 and 81 points respectively. THE HEARTLAND CONFERENCE TODAY: Lubbock Christian holds the top spot in the Heartland Conference. The Lady Chaps have started the season 5-0. Rogers State sits in second with a 3-1 overall mark. Newman has played more games to this point than any other school in the conference, posting a 5-2 overall record through seven games. St. Edward's and Arkansas-Fort Smith both sit fourth with 3-2 records. St. Mary's sits sixth at 2-3 while TAMIU and Oklahoma Christian post 0-4 records thus far. 3 coaching staff Caha joined the Texas A&M International University Department of Athletics staff as the Head Women's Basketball Coach in August He is responsible for all aspects of the TAMIU Women's Basketball team. Caha comes to the Dustdevils following a two-season Associate Head Coach run with Lone Star Conference opponent, Eastern New Mexico. During his time with the Greyhounds, Caha recruited two All-LSC 2nd Team players, while developing all team activities and strength & conditioning. Prior to ENMU, Caha saw a two-year stint as the assistant women's basketball coach at California Baptist University. In the two years Caha was at CBU, the team had a record, won one GSAC Championship, finished 5th in the nation in the Final NAIA Poll, finished second in the PacWest in the first year of NCAA Division II competition, coached 2 NAIA All Americans, 5 All Conference Players and had the best twoyear record at CBU for women's basketball since the seasons.
