Page 7 Closing and Veterans Day Edited by: Kaitlin Allen Co-Edited by: Jarad Johnson Cornersville Cain McWilliams had 145 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns for the Tigers offense. Austin Holdmeyer had 11 attempts and 11 completions passing for 100 yards and 1 touchdown. Jacob Pigg had 65 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Keele went 5 for 5 in extra points going 100%. Yatsko also went 100% going 1 for 1. Defensively, the Tigers held Cornersville to 165 yards rushing, and 0 yards passing. Marquice Emmons led the way with 16.5 tackles. Cain McWilliams had one sack for the Tiger defense. Fredi Mitchell had 3 tackles for loss. Stanley High had a fumble recovery, and at the very last second Hunter Keele had an interception right at the buzzer. Great game Tigers! Grace Christian Academy Senior night was a success here on tiger hill! The Tigers defeated Grace Christian Academy 45-0 with a 42-0 lead after the first half. Cain Mcwilliams went 8 for 121 touch down, Marquise Emmons went 5 for 52 touch down, and Cole Roland had a 1 for 1 touch down. Our kicker, Hunter Keele, put some more points on the board with a 31 yard field goal! Jonathan Pigg led with 10 tackles, and 1 sack, and Marquise Emmons fell right behind with 7 tackles. Overall, our tigers represented and played extremely well! Go tigers! By: Stanley High

Join the drama and debate club every Monday from 3:05 to 4:00 in the library after school for live debates and funny theatrical activities from lip syncing and colorful insults! Last Sunday The Rocketeers Drum & Bugle Corps & their new independent indoor percussion ensemble: Momentum Percussion will be here at FHS offering students a drum clinic. The clinic will be various workshops of percussion instruments from snare drum to marimba. If you d like to participate you can register at g. 5 Basketball Season is Coming Soon! Girls Basketball Dj Horton The Lady Tigers will be starting this season on November 17th with new players, as well as a new coach! Coach Keys says that he is really excited about the upcoming season, and I hope to see the students there supporting! The Goon Squad! Boys Basketball The Tigers will also be starting the season on November 17th with new talent and a great JV team.
