5 RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders ( ) are back at the Art Hauser Centre this afternoon for a Family Day date with the Regina Pats ( ). In their last game, the Raiders were unable to climb out of a first period hole in a 4-3 loss in Brandon to the Wheat Kings despite peppering Logan Thompson with 42 shots. After falling behind 3-0 in the opening frame, Jordy Stallard and Brett Leason scored power-play goals midway through the second period to bring the Raiders back within one. The Wheat Kings took a two-goal lead early THROUGH 58 GAMES , 57 PTS , 35 PTS LEADERS GOALS J. Stallard (38) ASSISTS C. Fonstad (40) POINTS J. Stallard (76) in the third, but Spencer Moe brought the Raiders back to within a goal late in the period. However, the Raiders were unable to find the equalizer with the net empty. VS. REGINA: This is the seventh contest of the eight-game season series between the Raiders and the Pats. Although the Raiders have yet to beat Regina this year, five of the six games were decided by a goal and three went to overtime SEASON SERIES RECAP Oct. 13/17 at PA REG 2 PA 1 (OT) C. On Saturday, he scored his 16th power-play goal of the season. That goal put him into a tie with Mike Winther s campaign for most powerplay goals in a season in the past 10 years. The goal also gave Stallard a four-game point streak, which ties him with Kody McDonald for longest active streak on the team. During this most recent stretch, Stallard has four goals and three assists. BACK TO BACK: Saturday night was the third time this season Brett Leason has scored in back-to-back games. The Calgary product has now reached double digits in goals with the Raiders, potting 10 this season. NEXT UP: The Raiders head out to Alberta for a three-game trip, beginning on Wednesday night in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes. Game time is 8 p.m. The Raiders return home on Tuesday, February 27 to wrap up the season series with the Brandon Wheat Kings.
