1 2014 JUNO Week Events Guide As of February 25, 2014 Dancin Tones and Buzzin Bones: Celebrating the 2014 JUNOS Date: March 1 June 15, 2014 Time: Open during regular museum hours, visit Location: Manitoba Museum, 190 Rupert Ave, Winnipeg R38 0N2 What: The Explore Science Zone in The Manitoba Museum s Science Gallery is excited to offer the public a series of activities including Buzzin Bones, Straw Oboe, and Surfing on a Sound Wave among others, that explore the scientific principles of vibrations and waves that govern music and instruments. Purchase Details: Free with admission The JUNO Tour of Canadian Art Date: March 24 June 1, 2014 Time: Open during regular gallery hours, visit wag.ca Location: Winnipeg Art Gallery, 300 Memorial Blvd, Winnipeg, MB What: Now in its fourth year, The JUNO Tour of Canadian Art is an exhibit that takes place at a highprofile art gallery in the host city to the JUNO Awards. JUNO Award nominees and /or winners (6-8) select works within a gallery s Canadian collections that serve as personal or artistic inspiration, their response is video recorded, and displayed in the gallery next to their chosen piece on screen and via a gallery label, as a part of The JUNO Tour of Canadian Art (JTOCA). This exhibit was previously hosted at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the National Gallery of Canada, and the MacKenzie Art Gallery. This year, the Winnipeg Art Gallery will host the fourth installment of JTOCA for 3 months in Participating artists: Dean Brody, Fred Penner, Monster Truck, Royal Canoe, and John K.
