2 Race Pack Collection Race Kit Collection details: Date: 6 7 January 2018 (Saturday & Sunday) Time: 10AM 6PM Venue: East Court, Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur (In front of Red Lobster) ALL race kit of ALL categories consist of: 1 New Balance running T-shirt; 1 number bib (c/w timing chip for 12km only); 1 resolution back bib; 1 drawstring bag; Safety pins; and Sunny yellow shades CONFIRMATION SLIP ALL collections MUST be accompanied with: A hardcopy / digital receipt of the confirmation slip. Your MyKad / passport (Original). Authorisation letter (if you are collecting on behalf of your family members or another participants). All the race kits without any special arrangement with the Organiser and not collected during the stipulated collection date, will be deemed as unwanted and the Organiser shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute them accordingly. Goodie bags will be distributed to all the runners during race kit collection. Strictly limited to one goodie bag per participant. No claims of goodie bags will be entertained thereafter. Only registered runners are eligible to take part in the race. Bags / Personal Belongings Your personal belongings can be deposited at the designated storage area (to the barest minimum) at your own risk at the carnival area. Important: You are expected to pick up your personal belongings before the centre closes at 10.00AM. Parking Facilities Refer to Page 4 for locations to park. Surau Surau is located near the carnival area. Race Cut-Off Time All officials including marshals, medical units and police personnel, will be withdrawn from the course 9.30AM onwards. Any runner who has not passed the designated 12KM mark by 9.30AM is advised to take the Marshals Vehicle for their own safety. Any runner who has not passed the designated 5KM mark by 9.30AM is advised to take the Marshals Vehicle for their own safety. The Course (Route) Refer to route map for respective run category. Check Points One (1) mat checkpoint will be available along the route for 12KM. Drinking / Refreshment Station There will be three (3) water stations along the 12KM route, one (1) water station for the 5KM route. There will be a water station and an isotonic drink station. You are encouraged to hydrate sufficiently. Toilets Mobile toilets are available at the carnival area. Medals Finisher Medals will be distributed at a designated area after the finish line on Event day. No claims will be entertained thereafter. Winner trophies will be given during the presentation. Prize Giving The top five (5) finishers for ALL 12KM categories are the winners and will receive s. Winners will be called on to stage for the giving ceremony. Winners will have to assemble at the main stage 20 minutes before the giving ceremony. Collecting on behalf of a winner will NOT be allowed. All winners are to produce their MyKad / passport for verification purpose. Refer to layout for stage location. Cash Awards Winners who are entitled to the cash award can collect the cash award after the giving ceremony. Food Packs Food packs will be distributed to all the runners after completion of the run at a designated area after the finish line. Please show your race bib for redemption. Strictly limited to one food pack per participant. AFTER THE RUN Certificates Runners who complete their race within the mentioned Race Cut-Off time will receive an E-Certificate for participants to download (made available 7 days after the event day). E-Certificate will be provided for participants: a) Category A, B, C & D 12KM b) Category FR 5KM Race Results The results for all 12KM categories will be posted on 17/1/ based on the timing chips records.

12 Important Advice Traffic Police While we appreciate and encourage your participation in this event, please take note that: a) You are advised to strictly follow all instructions given by the Course Marshals / Traffic Police; b) Road closure begins at 6.00AM onwards. Certain parts of the route will be closed intermittently; and c) All roads are expected to be opened by 9.00AM (subject to the traffic police discretion). Unpredictable Weather Sun Life Malaysia SHiNE Resolution Run 2018 may be delayed OR cancelled in case of lightning storm or any other unpredictable weather conditions. We will notify participants in case there are unpredictable weather conditions. Any updates on the Event including any changes to the Terms will be posted on the Official Website. In case you get caught in a thunderstorm during the course, do the following: Do not seek shelter under tall structures, metal poles, tall trees and tents; and Take cover under low hanging trees or inside nearby buildings. The event may be cancelled in case of severe weather conditions. In such cases, there will be no refunds and the organiser will not be legally liable. Medical If you have any health conditions, please consult your doctor or a medical professional on whether you are fit to participate in the event. If a participant feels weak, dizzy, nauseous, and light-headed or an irregular heartbeat, it is advised that they inform an event official/volunteer immediately and consult nearby medical staff. Participants are advised to monitor their heartbeat, body temperature, and general well-being to avoid any unwanted medical emergencies. The medical staff at Sun Life Malaysia SHiNE Resolution Run 2018 will treat serious cases and injuries, otherwise known as medical emergencies. They will not be able to treat minor cases like muscle cramps, minor cuts and bruises and minor sprains or strains.

13 Wear your event shirt; Maintain a straight posture while running; Stay alert for your route,s signage; Run in short strides and don t land on your heels; Do not put unnecessary pressure on yourself, if you feel tired then take a short break; Dos Get a good night s sleep the night before the run; and Enjoy the run!
