7 6 All these vessels listen at VHF channel 16 and the relevant VTS VHF channels. The cable laying ship 'Stemat Spirit' will be used for laying the export cable from the beach to the C-Power wind farm on the seabed. Afterwards, the cable will be buried. The Stemat Spirit will begin laying the cable in shallow waters (off the coast), while the Stemat Spirit is moored on anchor. Her anchor set comprises 6 anchors marked by neuringtons. These buoys are fitted with a white light Fl.5s. The established safety zone around the cable laying ship during the laying of cable on anchors is a 0.5 nautical mile radius. When between WP 3 and WP 5 in the vicinity of position 51 18,70'N ,51'E, there is sufficient water under the keel, the laying of cable will pass from laying while moored on anchor to laying in DP mode. As from then, the laying of cable will be carried out in DP mode (hence fully without anchors). The safety zone around the cable laying vessel during the installation of the cable in DP mode will be reduced to a 500 metre radius. 2 and up to 3 guard vessels will be stationed along the cable route: Inge Callsign: YJVZ3 Walvis Callsign: YJQG3 Dolfijn Callsign: YJQL8 All guard vessels listen at VHF channel 16 as well as at the relevant VTS VHF channels. Shipping is requested not to anchor nor to set out fishing gear within a zone of at least 250 metres on both sides of the above-mentioned cable route in anticipation of the cable being buried. 8 7 >07/120 (T) CANAL GENT-TERNEUZEN - MOERVAART - WORKS IN PROGRESS Due to works in the navigation channel on the Moervaart, along the northern quay , navigation will be blocked. The works will begin on the 26 th of March, 2012 and will last up to the 9 th of August, 2012, longer or shorter in time in function of the works, from Monday until Friday inclusive, and from am until pm, but not during weekends and on holidays. However, the work hours can be shifted in function of shipping traffic. During this period, navigation in the area of the works will either be prohibited or may occur at a very limited speed, while using the screw as little as possible. During the works, the patrol vessel 'Roeland' will guide the ships as much as possible, and will remain in position at the entrance to the Moervaart.
