Installation Enquiries Following your initial enquiry, Air Liquide will arrange a site visit to identify and agree your expectations. We will guide you through the process to ensure you are confident with how the project will be handled from start to finish. The site discussion is tailored to your needs with suggested solutions and options to optimise the system specification within your budget, scope and schedule. Typically, the following topics are covered in the visit Your requirements: Safety requirements Gases to be used Purity requirements Pressure requirements Flow requirements Installation design: Selection of materials: Programming: Project control: Site survey: Site layout and environment Mode of supply (bulk liquid, cylinders, gas generators) Storage/connection point (where possible, externally located) Safety considerations Pressure/flow control equipment Pipeline sizing and possible distribution routes Connection to your equipment or Point of Use Compliance with latest Codes of Practice and best practice (including cgmp) Equipment specifically selected to produce the optimum result in terms of safety, performance and purity Material compatibility Pressure control method Safety devices Every effort is made to fit our installation program to your schedule Project Management by Air Liquide UK in conjunction with your nominated personnel Where possible, the site is surveyed during the visit to ensure compliance with the latest Codes of Practice. If not possible on initial visit site survey is completed at later date. (Air Liquide is an active participant in the British Compressed Gas Association, BCGA who produce and maintain the relevant Codes of Practice.

5 Equipment specifically selected to produce the optimum result in terms of safety, performance and purity. Written Proposal Submitted After the site visit and with your requirements fully defined, we will issue a budget proposal for your initial review. This provides you with the opportunity to clarify and/or change the scope requirements, if needed. Once you are satisfied with the design scheme, a written offer is prepared which details the entire scope of the gas supply installation. Accompanying the offer will be all the supporting technical documents to ensure you have all the information you require to make an fully informed choice including: Safety Data Sheets, Equipment Data Sheets and, if required, an advance copy of the technical specification for the major items in the system. Contract Award and Project Management On award of your contract, we will acknowledge receipt of your order and reconfirm the scope of supply and agreed timescale for completion of the project. The project will be managed in accordance with our internal procedures as detailed on our Industrial Management System (IMS), which is audited in accordance with ISO The IMS is an integrated system that manages the Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance of our business world-wide. Throughout the project you will have a nominated point of contact, who will keep you updated on the project and agree dates for all site activities with you. They will also ensure the process is conducted in accordance with all standards and specifications you would expect from the world s leading Gases company. Prior to commencement of any site works Risk Assessments and Method Statements will be issued for your review and acceptance. We hand over the installation in real use conditions to ensure it meets with your operational requirements and provides all functionality expected from the initial design review.
