4 SAMPLING SYSTEMS OVERVIEW 1. OVERVIEW Today high quality standards required in the final product produced. Especially in the chemical and petrochemical industry. This is necessary to have process measures, which are usually done with online analyzers. However there is a greater tendency to obtain samples for analysis in the laboratory. This system allows measurements at points where there are no parsers. Process analyzers, do not always cover all points of analysis, due to cost, complexity, and maintenence required, thus the option of installing sampler systems at significant points of analysis is the best guaran tee for process control. These systems have a number of advantages, in the way of demands of today's modern industry To maximize worker s safety. To avoid emissions, commitment environment. 5 SAMPLING SYSTEMS OVERVIEW Liquid Sampling Systems: The container consists of bottle, sealed septum and cap. The sampling system has an adapter with two different length needles, designed to pierce the septum of bottle ensuring sealed and preventing outside emissions. The sample comes in by the longer needle and vented by the short one, to prevent pressurization on container. Venting may be redirected to the atmosphere or a filter system Features: Container: Borosilicate Bottle, sealed septum and cap. Volume: 500 c.c. (Ask for others capacities). System main body: 316 SS Connections:¼ tube fitting, 1/2 NPT...(Can be customized) Needle orifice:4.8 mm Maximun working pressure: 6 barg. Gases Sampling Systems: This sampling system used in process of gas, liquefied gas or strong volatile liquid, whem the working conditions may be high temperature, high pressure, corrosive, strong toxicity, strong volatile, etc which is dangerous to the enviroment. 13 SAMPLING SYSTEMS FOR LIQUIDS FV01 SERIES Operations: Place the Bottle in the module sampler needle and secured his position by supporting Click. 1-OFF The valve in OFF position closes the process line, isolating the sampler. 2-BY PASS Turn the handle of sampling valve to BYPASS position, the sample fill the fixed volume cylinder and remove residual sample into de process line. 3-OFF Turn the handle of sampling valve to OFF position, isolate the sample collected in the fixed volume chamber. When liquid fluid, pressure becomes atmospheric by placing it at the next sample position, eliminating any danger to the operator. 4-SAMPLE Turn the handle of sampling valve to SAMPLE position, the sample flow from the fixed volume chamber to the sample bottle. The vent communicates directly with the top of the fixed volume chamber, allowing the sample flow and preventing pressurization in the container. 15 SAMPLING SYSTEMS FOR LIQUIDS VS SERIES Operations: Place the Bottle in the module sampler needle and secured his position by supporting Click. 1-OFF The valve in OFF position closes the process line, isolating the sampler. 2- PRE SAMPLE Turn the handle of sampling valve counter clockwise, the sample flows into fixed volume chamber.turn off the sampling valve after presampling complete. 3-SAMPLE Open the ball valve and then open the needle valve, the innert gas force the sample bottle and purge the sample. 4-OFF Turn off the needle valve and the ball valve. 17 SAMPLING SYSTEMS FOR GASES SG SERIES SG STANDARD MODEL The SG Standard model sampling system is used to obtain a process gas simple; the sampling system is part of a closed loop with a sampling collecting cylinder and a unic valve, which lets sample cutting, by-pass and a sample to the cylinder. The disconnection from the cylinder is made by plug connectors which avoid gas leaks outside. Sampling system used on hight pressure and temperature process conditions, until 200 barg and 232ºC Features: Application for gases sampling. Sampling at high temperature and pressure processes. Install the sampler cylinder, plug the flexible hose and open the two needle valves. 2- BY PASS Turn the handle of the sample valve to BYPASS position, the sample flow into the system, fill the cylinder and remove residual sample into the process line. 3-OFF Turn the handle of sample valve to OFF position, then turn off the needles valves of cylinder 4-VENT Turn the handle of sample valve to VENT position and open the vent valve to discharge the pressureto the vent line.
