4 Highly qualified staff All fully CRB-checked, RYA (Royal Yachting Association), AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) as a snorkelling centre.

7 Coach Departures The coach departs at 7.00 am on Monday 28 th May. Students need to meet at 6:45am outside the school on Morton Road. Estimated time of arrival in Newquay is 1.00pm Students will need to bring a packed lunch with them for when we arrive in Newquay. Students will also need to bring clothes to go to the beach in as they will be doing activities straight away

22 Desirable Essential kit! Snacks Students may also bring snacks but excessive sweets and energy drinks will be confiscated Talcum powder ideal for wetsuits and after wet activities. Swimmers boys should be aware board shorts rub and chafe under a wetsuit, trunks are better. Girls Costumes rather than bikinis must be worn. ALL CLOTHING MUST BE SENSIBLE AND MODEST

23 Medication Each item of medication must be labelled with the following information: Students name Dosage Details of when the medication is to be taken. Medication will be collected by Mrs. Smith on the morning of departure before we get on the coach. Medication may be given in earlier if you wish Mrs. Smith tonight or Mrs. Norman from tomorrow.

24 Mobile phones, gadgets and gizmos All expensive items are taken at your own risk. Phones and electronics do not like the beach sand - we take plenty of photos. Phones, electronics and hats are banned at mealtimes.

25 Water Sports Shoes Enable the students to spend time during water sports activities safely without damaging their feet. All students will receive a pair of wet shoes on arrival - Please see Mrs. Norman to confirm sizes

26 Dietary information All dietary needs of students will be sent through to the hotel and checked upon arrival. Please speak to Mrs. Norman if there are any changes to your son/daughter s requirements. jnorman@wokinghigh.surrey.sch.uk

27 Spending money Recommended amount Maximum Students can be responsible for their own money or staff can be given money to look after. Spending money needed mainly for additional refreshments. 5 for swimming on Wednesday.

28 Coach Departures Friday 2nd June The coach departs Newquay at 10.00am Estimated time of arrival at WHS is 5pm We will let you know half and hour before arrival back at WHS
