1 Dear Club Secretary, Aer Lingus Swimming Club has pleasure in inviting your club to participate in the AER LINGUS 2017 GALA at the ALSAA Pool Dublin Airport on Saturday 6 th and Sunday 7th May Meet will be a Heat Declared Winner Meet, run in Multi-age Group format in the following age groups: 9 and under 50m All Four Strokes 10/11 50m/100m All Four Strokes & 100 I.M. 12/13, 14/15, m/200m All Four Strokes I.M. There will be Relays for each age group 4x50m Freestyle and 4x50m Medley Age is as at 31 st December 2017 Medals will be awarded to 1 st,2 nd and 3 rd in each age group. There will be an overall trophy, best trophy Male and Female swimmer of the day. We will also be awarding a prize for best travelling team on the day. Order of events are enclosed. Entries on Hytek should be returned not later than Friday 28 th April 2017 by to Fiona Burke57@gmail.com. Online payments can be paid to: Aer Lingus Swim Club. Warm up times may change depending on the amount of entries. There are catering facilities in the pool complex. Free car parking will be provided in the ESB International complex beside the ALSAA Pool. Once we know the participating clubs we will distribute car park vouchers for both days. If there is anyone with a disability, please a copy of the disability pass to our secretary at: aerlingusswimclubsecretary@gmail.com for parking in the Aer Lingus Head office car park in front of the pool. Please note the entrance to the ALSAA pool & for ESB International parking is a right turn just beyond the entrance to the Maldron Hotel. Our nominated charity this year is Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency (MSD) which is a debilitating and currently terminal disease. Please see for further information. There is a theoretical cure for this disease but it requires further funding to develop a cure. All proceeds of the raffle will go to this foundation to try to find a cure.
