1 The 25th ANNUAL FLORIDA CATHOLIC SWIMMING & DIVING INVITATIONAL HOSTED BY Bishop Moore Catholic High School October 3, 2015 SPONSORED BY: Bishop Moore Catholic High School DATE AND TIME: October 3, 2015: SWIMMING: 9am warmup, 11am meet start. DIVING: 11am warmup and dive sheets due, 12p (noon) event start Divers will use the 6-dive format. Divers must meet minimum D.D. requirements. TYPE OF MEET: Outdoor Short Course (25 yards). This will be a timed final event. Meet Management may choose to run a 10 lane course to expedite sessions NO qualifying times will be required, with the exception of the 500 free and a minimum degree of difficulty for diving. LOCATION: Lake Highland Preparatory School Aquatic Complex 901 North Highland Avenue, Orlando, FL Ext POOL SPECIFICATIONS: ELIGIBILITY: Two certified 25 yard, 8/10 lane courses with non-turbulent lane lines (one course for competition, one course for warmup/warm down). Regulation starting platforms, Daktronics timing system and automatic touchpads with new digital scoreboard will be used. The competition water depth is 6 foot 9 inches at the start and the turn end. Open to all Catholic High School Varsity teams in Florida. Swimmers entered in the 500 Freestyle must meet the qualifying time of 6:30.00 for girls and 6:15.00 for boys. Divers must meet the minimum D.D. requirements. ORDER OF EVENTS: #1,2 200 Medley Relay #3,4 200 Freestyle #5,6 200 IM #7,8 50 Free BREAK #9, Fly #11, Free #13, Free #15, Free Relay BREAK #17, Backstroke #19, Breaststroke #21, Free Relay #23,24 Diving SCRATCH PENALTY: As of , there is no penalty for a swimmer scratching an event. ENTRY LIMITS: Individual Events 100 yards and less: Unlimited entries per team, scoring top 4 only, per gender. Individual Events 200 yards and longer: Limit 4 entries per gender per team. Relay events 200 yards: Unlimited entries per team, Scoring A & B relays only, per gender. Relay events 400 yards: Limited to A & B relays only, per gender.

2 NOTE: Individuals are allowed a maximum of 4 events total for meet, being no more than 2 individual events. ENTRY FEE: Entry forms and fees must be received by Wednesday, September 23, $8.00 per athlete facility charge and $2.00 per individual swimming event, $5.00 per relay event, $5.00 per diver. Please enter athletes and relays in swimming events with times wherever possible (Avoid using X s and NT as much as possible). Divers may be entered by marking an X in the appropriate column on the entry sheet or in Hy-Tek. ENTRY FORM: Entries must be in USA Swimming SDIF format or HY-TekCL2 submitted on a Hy-Tek disk with hard copy printout or sent by using HY-Tek team manager. Corrupted, unreadable, or incorrectly formatted files must be corrected within 24 hours. Errors in entries submitted electronically are the responsibility of the applicant. confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the file. Those entering with a disk may receive meet results on a disk prior to leaving the meet. A completed Master Entry Sheet must be included. List all attending coaches and contact phone numbers in the body of the if they are not part of your Hy-Tek team manager entry. If using the enclosed entry form, the form will serve as proof of entry. The legal name for each swimmer must be listed on the entry form, including relay only swimmers. The master entry form must accompany the proof of entries. The non-electronic entries will be accepted with an additional entry fee of $50.00 per team. 3 COACH SUPERVISION: COACHES HEAT SHEETS: DECK ENTRIES: TEAM REPRESENTATIVE: CAMERA ZONES: LOCKER ROOMS: NOTES: Each swimmer participating in a Florida Swimming sanctioned meet must be supervised during warm-ups and competition by a current team coach. Each Team will receive one heat sheet for every coach listed on their proof of entry form. Deck entries will not be accepted at this meet. Prior to the start of the meet, the name of one person other than the coach, who will check with the referee about any matter pertaining to the meet, may be given to the referee. For each team, the coach and that person only will be recognized. Per Florida Swimming Rule , Meet Management shall designate and inform the public of Camera Zones at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a competitor in a race may be taken. Acceptable Camera Zones may include, but are not limited to the side courses of a pool, team gathering areas, concession area, turn-end of competition course when not in use as a start-end, etc. Meet Management shall also designate Non-Camera Zones. Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course(s) while they are in use for race starting purposes during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Rule Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is strongly discouraged. *More information will be provided as the date approaches.
