Throughout the duration of the, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, heart attacks, fractures, diabetes, asthma, choking and much more. Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) day and Assessments included Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) The Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those wishing to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Throughout this 1 day, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including administering CPR, using a defibrillator, dealing with wounds and bleeding, minor injuries and more. First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) (RQF) 4.75 First Aid at Work Annual Refresher (RQF) The First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) (RQF) has been specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required. Successful learners will leave with a renewed confidence, having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, and learn the latest techniques needed to deal with an emergency situation. Paediatric First Aid (RQF) day Paediatric First Aid (RQF) The Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education s EYFS Framework. It is ideal for nursery workers, childminders and assistants who are required to hold a full paediatric first aid certificate, and for those who wish to be included in their staff to child ratio requirements. Over a 2 day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: CPR and defibrillator use, choking, meningitis, asthma, anaphylaxis and more. All rights reserved Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) 4.75 Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) 1 day The Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specifically designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and is ideal for those working in early years settings who wish to be included in their staff to child ratio requirements. It is also ideal for anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians and grandparents. Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and defibrillator use, choking, external bleeding and more. Paediatric First Aid Annual Refresher (RQF) Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF) hour The Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF) has been designed to allow qualified paediatric first aiders to refresh their knowledge and practise key paediatric first aid skills every year until requalification training is required. Throughout this 3 hour, learners will renew their confidence by practising essential paediatric first aid procedures, including: CPR and defibrillator use, the recovery position, choking and more. Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course extended days s Streamlined perfectly to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid s separately, the Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both first aiders and paediatric first aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings. Over 3 extended days, learners will develop the knowledge and practical competencies needed to provide effective first aid for adults, children and infants. Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) 4.75 Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) The Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge needed to administer effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations. Over a half day period, learners will gain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing a casualty with anaphylaxis, adrenaline auto-injectors, common triggers, signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, CPR and defibrillator use and more. Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) 4.75 Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (RQF) Designed to equip learners with the essential skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support in an emergency situation, this half day regulated qualification is ideal for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support for both adults and children. It is also ideal for those who are looking to refresh or develop their existing first aid knowledge and skills further. First Aid Essentials (RQF) day First Aid Essentials (RQF) The First Aid Essentials (RQF) is a regulated qualification designed for those who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid in emergency situations. During this 1 day, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR and defibrillator use, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries. This 2 day is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with an emergency situation whilst undertaking activities such as sports, swimming, hiking and rock climbing. Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) 4.75 Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) 2 hour The Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers. Successful learners will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills needed to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, including Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding. Designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, this regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy. Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) 4.75 Lesson Plans and Assessments included Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) The Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility for the treatment and/or management of casualties who need emergency medical oxygen administering. This qualification is suitable for first aiders operating in a high risk environment, community first responders, cabin crew, fire, police and other emergency services personnel. Topics covered include the clinical need for oxygen therapy, oxygen delivery devices and administering emergency oxygen. citizenaid (RQF) hour citizenaid (RQF) The citizenaid (RQF) has been specifically developed to help members of the public learn life-saving skills for use in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident. Based on the citizenaid phone App and pocket guide, this 3 hour regulated qualification is designed to teach people how to react safely, prioritise the injured and administer life-saving first aid.
