2 Basketball Victoria Country congratulates all association volunteers for the work they put in, on a weekly basis, to have teams compete in the BVC range of competitions. Whether this was the Country Basketball League Senior representative competition or the popular Junior Championships or domestic committees and team staff at the Club Championships, BVC is fully aware that the work by associations (often unheralded) is the strength of basketball in Regional Victoria. With the conclusion of the U Country Championships at in April, another successful Country Basketball season came to an end. Just under teams from BVC Affiliated Associations competed in the variety of competitions on offer and the conduct, professionalism and sense of fair play is a credit to your association. It is very encouraging to see the development of players, coaches and officials across the regional area of Victoria and I encourage you to utilise BVC to assist your association in any area of your operations. BVC is committed to the National Aussie Hoops program to introduce the next generation of basketballers to this great game, which is just one of the many programs on offer. BVC s Events and Community Programs Officer, Sammy Cartwright has put together this second edition of the BVC Results Book, which covers all events that occurred under the Basketball Victoria Country banner. In this electronic age, this book is one of the few produced and distributed and I hope you enjoy the read as you review the latest Country Season to go into our proud history.
