Julia Goerges and Anastasija Sevastova were nearly as efficient, conceding only 15 games apiece. Vandeweghe, meanwhile, has been on court for 3hrs 13mins, giving up 16 games Three of the final four here in Zhuhai have won a title in 2017 Barty (Kuala Lumpur), Goerges (Moscow) and Sevastova (Mallorca). Vandeweghe is bidding to reach her second final of the season, having finished runner-up to Madison Keys at Stanford Goerges hit four aces in the round robin stage, taking tally for 2017 to 405 second on tour to Karolina Pliskova s total of 452.
