2 Achievements of Mr. Akash B Rao 1. Secured 1 st place in 100 mts and long jump conducted by Karnataka Ameture Athletic Association held at Bangalore and also he created a new State record in the event long jump with a distance of 7.35 mts. 3. Secured 1 st place and also created a new meet record in long jump with a distance of 7.02 mts which was conducted by State Dasara held at Mysore in the year Secured 1 st place in 100 mts conducted by Junior National held at Warangal and he was also selected to represent Indian team at SAAF games which was held at Sri Lanka. 6. Secured 1 st place in 200 mts and long jump at the 1 st Inter collegiate Athletic Competition conducted by Karnataka State Law University and also created a new Meet record in 200 mts and long jump in the year Secured 1 st place in 100 mts, long jump, triple jump, and 4*100 mts relay in 2 nd Inter Collegiate Athletics Competitions conducted by Karnataka State Law University and he created a new Meet record by breaking his own record in Long jump, triple jump,100 mts and 4*100 relay and also was awarded cash prize of Rs.25,000/- He won the best Men Athlete of the competition and was awarded with Rs.10,000/- He won a Gold coin worth Rs.45,000/- for outstanding performance in 100 mts for clocking in timings of 10.9 seconds in the year Secured 1 st place in 100 mts and long jump in All India Law University which was conducted by National Law School at Bangalore in the year 2013 and also he created a National Law University Record in 100 mts with a timing of seconds. 9. Secured 1 st place in 4*100 mts relay at Taluk, District Division and State level. Also created a new Meet record and was awarded with a cash prize of Rs.7,500/- And also participated in various All India Competitions held at Moodbidri, Kolkatha,Punjab. 2

17 KARNATAKA STATE LAW UNIVERSITY INTER COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT FOR MEN The Karnataka State Law University Inter Collegiate Basket Ball Tournament for Men was held at Mangala Stadium, Mangalore on 24 th February The tournament was organized by our college in association with Karnataka State Law University Hubli. The tournament was inaugurated by Sri. Naveen Shetty, Secretary, D.K. District Basket Ball Association, Sri. Khalid B. Khan Director of Sports, Karnataka State law University, Hubli was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. B.K. Ravindra, Principal, S.D.M. Law College, Mangalore presided over the programme. Mr. Shashiprasad, Physical Education Director and Convenor of the tournament was present on the occasion. 07 teams have participated in the tournament. The tournament was conducted on knockout Basis. 17
