1 Everybody Nordic Walking May 2016 Regular Walks Leisure Development Floor 3 Delamere House Delamere Street Crewe CW1 2JZ Welcome to all those new Nordic Walkers who have just recently completed the technique course with us, and thank you to all you regular walkers who continue to attend our Walk Leaders regular walks. Attached with this letter is list of new dates for the upcoming regular walks in May Please always check with the walks leaders before deciding not to turn up due to bad weather as the walks will normally take place regardless of the weather. You will be able to rent Nordic Walking Poles for the session at 1, or you can bring your own poles. Each walk will cost you 1 ( 2 if you are renting poles) which you pay at each walk you attend. Please note that the walks with this drink symbol means there will be chance after the walk for people to stay and have a tea, coffee, cold drink or order food. Please note that you will have to pay individually for any food or drink you have. If you are attending a walk please contact the walk leader, or Simon Green, to let them know you are attending either via Text, Phone Call or . (This is necessary so that leaders know who to expect and in order to have sufficient number of poles available on the day of the walk.) 2 Nordic Walk Grading Key *Improver Walks = led by a qualified NW instructor, an introduction to regular Nordic walking, initially 1 hour. *Wellness Walks = led at a gentle pace for 1 hour. *Wellness Plus Walks = led at a moderate pace 1 ½ up to 2 ½ hours, some stiles *Adventure walks = led at a moderate pace, 3 hours+, sometimes hilly and with stiles *Adventure plus walks = led at a moderate pace, 5 hours+, often hilly and with stiles.
