1 SWAN DISTRICTS DARTS ASSOCIATION (Inc) GENERAL AND PLAYING RULES REVISED The Association shall be called the Swan Districts Darts Association (Inc) 2. The Association is formed for the following purposes: (a) To encourage the game of Darts in Western Australia, and improve it as a sport. (b) The control and management of the game of darts played in the Swan Districts area by members of the Association and all clubs affiliated with the Association. (c) To establish a Code of Rules to govern the different games played on dart boards. (d) To arrange and carry out tournaments and championships in connection with such games. (e) The choosing of all representative teams of the Association. (f) The consideration and decision of all disputes and matters in which the Association or any Clubs affiliated with the Association, or any players that shall be concerned in any matter whatsoever. (g) The infliction of any of the penalties provided in these Rules or in the Rules of the game. (h) And the doing of all acts and deeds which it may consider conductive to its interests or in the interests of the game of Darts. COMMITTEE 3. A committee shall be elected by the General body of members at the Annual General Meeting for not less than twelve months and shall consist of: (a) The President (b) Two Vice-Presidents (c) Six Committeemen Plus Honorary Secretary or Honorary Secretary/Treasurer and Honorary Registrar. (d) Only financial members can be elected on to the General Committee of the Association. (e) The President shall be elected for two years and one of the Vice-Presidents and three committeemen shall be elected annually and shall hold office for two years provided that at the first election under these rules, two Vice-Presidents and six committeemen shall be elected, and the one placed first in the case of the Vice-Presidents and those placed first, second and third in the voting list relating to Committeemen shall hold office until the end of the second year, and the one placed second in relation to the Vice-President and those placed fourth, fifth and sixth in relation to committeemen shall retire at the end of the first year following their election. Thereafter the Vice-President and three committeemen who have been longest in office shall retire. The Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and honorary Registrar shall be appointed annually by the incoming committee subsequent to the Annual General Meeting. 4. The Committee shall have the power without assigning any reason to: (a) Decline the nomination of any person or Club as a member. (b) Decline to accept the renewal of the subscription of any person or Club and thereupon such person or Club shall cease to be a member. (c) The Committee shall do all in its power to discourage gambling on any match.
2 -2- (d) Hear and determine all applications relating to opposed transfers. (e) To grant or refuse a transfer to any player when such transfer is necessary (f) Hear and determine any questions relating to the right of qualifications of any player to play with any particular Club. (g) Arrange the program of all the matches to be played under the control of the Association and to allocate grounds for such matches. (h) The committee to meet once per Month during the playing season. Five to form a quorum (i) A Committee member having missed two consecutive meetings without at first having applied for leave to do so will be deemed to be no longer a member of the Committee. Such vacancy occurring may be filled at the discretion of the Committee and any member chosen shall retain office until the next Annual General Meeting. (j) The Committee shall have the power to elect sub-committees as they consider necessary. (k) To hold an official position on the Committee, Swan Districts Darts Association (Inc) must be the Members Parent Association. DUTIES OF OFFICERS 5. The duties of the officers shall be as follows: (a) President: The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association and all General Committee Meetings of the Association and all other meetings which require his presence and he shall see that business is conducted in a proper manner. He may, at his discretion, and shall at the requisition of six members of the General Committee, call a Special Meeting of the General Committee and generally ensure the well being of the Association and objects of the Association. In case at any time of equality of votes, he shall give a casting vote. (b) Vice-President: The Vice-President shall assist the President in every manner possible and in the absence of the President from any meeting shall preside and conduct the business and incase of equality shall have a deliberate and a casting vote. (c) Auditors: The Auditor or Auditors shall check all dividend statements, examine the books, accounts, receipts, and other financial records of the Association for the year following their appointment and compare the same with the balance sheet. Such Audit shall be completed no later than one week prior to the Annual General Meeting and Auditor or Auditors shall prepare a report as to the financial position of the Association to be presented to the Annual General meeting of delegates. The fee paid to the Auditor s (if any) shall be determined by the Executive Committee. (d) Treasurer: The Treasurer shall keep a correct account of the monies received and expended and pay all monies belonging to the Association into such Bank as shall be approved by the Executive Committee within fourteen days of receiving same. He shall balance his books prior to the Annual audit or whenever required to do so by the Executive Committee. He shall prepare and submit to the auditors a cash statement for the Auditor for presentation to the meeting of the executive Committee when called upon to do so. He shall, in conjunction with the President and Secretary, sign all cheques and take all receipts for all payments made by him.
3 -3- (e) Secretary: The Secretary shall attend all meetings and take minutes of the same, receive all correspondence and answer such questions as may be asked in accordance with these Rules. The Secretary will keep a Register of all Club Members admitted to the Association and also a complete register of all transfers and permits dealt with and perform all other duties and services as the Committee may from time to time direct. The Executive Committee at a special Meeting called from time to time may remove him from office, summarily, and without notice, for any cause for which summary dismissal is permitted and otherwise dispense of his services for any reason whatsoever after seven (7) days notice in writing of its intention to do so to be given to the Secretary (or Treasurer) at any time during his term of office. (f) Registrar: The Registrar must keep a detailed Register of all Club Members of the Association under the Clubs and record under Grades each and every competition game that each player competes in and their average. He must also keep a complete register of transfers and permits dealt with. He must also report all breaches of the rules of the association governing the eligibility of the players to the general committee and in conjunction with the secretary impose fines and penalties set by the committee. Any inquiries regarding the eligibility of any players can only be made by a Club official to the Registrar. The Executive Committee, at a special meeting called from time to time, may remove him from office summarily, and without notice for any cause for which summary dismissal is permitted and otherwise dispense of his services for any reason whatsoever after seven (7) days notice in writing of its intention to do so to be given to the Registrar at any time during his term of office. FUNDS OF THE ASSOCIATION 6. The funds of the Association will be dealt with by the General Committee. All cheques on the Association banking account to be signed by any two of the President, Secretary or Treasurer for the time being, any one to endorse cheques for credit of the account. In the case of a combined Secretary/Treasurer being elected the third sign signatory to be the senior Vice- President. All accounts due to be passed by the Executive Committee and finalized at Committee meeting. No member shall have any beneficial interest in the property of the Association. In the event of the Association being dissolved the property of the Association shall be distributed as per rule 16 of the Constitution. PROTESTS AND DISPUTES 7. Protest and disputes shall be dealt with by the General Committee; this Committee shall exercise the following functions and all decisions will be final (a) Hear and determine all protests, disputes, expulsions, disqualifications and charges against any players, officials and Clubs. (b) Impose such disqualifications and inflict such fines and other penalties as the Committee think fit in the cases brought before this Committee under paragraph (a) above.
4 -4- (c) All protests to be clearly written signed by the President and Secretary of the Club Lodging the protest and have it in the hands of the Association Secretary within seven (7) days. (d) Any protest shall be lodged with the opposing Captain and in the event of the conditions not being altered to comply with the protest, the Captain making the complaint to play under protest, such protest to be in the hands of the Secretary within seven (7) days. (e) The Captains of both teams shall mutually agree that the board and the conditions are satisfactory and in accordance with the Rules of the game. Dart Boards must be Darts WA approved boards. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 8. The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held no later than the 31 st of December each year. The order of business shall be as follows: Minutes, Election of officers, Election of Committee, Notices of Motion, General Business. DELEGATES 9. The Delegates shall meet on the first Wednesday of March, June, September and December unless otherwise notified by the Secretary. Save and except as in these rules otherwise provided, each Club shall be represented by at least one (1) registered member, only one member having voting rights. Any club not represented at a Delegates meeting will be fined $30. No written, verbal or otherwise presented apology will waive the $30 fine. An adjourned meeting will be deemed another meeting when recording the attendance of delegates. STANDING ORDERS 10. So as to maintain good order and to facilitate the business at the meetings, the following rules shall be observed. (a) A member giving notice of motion shall read it aloud and give a copy thereof to the Secretary of the Association at a meeting at least 14 days before the meeting which it is intended such motion will be moved. (b) No motion entered on the notice paper shall be proceeded with unless the member who has given such notice or someone authorized in writing by him be present when the business is called to order. Notices not proceeded with will be struck out. (c) Any notice not seconded shall not be further debated, but shall lapse. (d) As soon as debate on the question is concluded the Chairman shall put the question to the meeting in a distinct and audible manner. (e) The question being put shall be resolved in the affirmative or negative on the voices but if so required by two members, the question shall be decided by a division. (f) A meeting having been proposed, may be amended by leaving out, or substituting or adding words and such amendments shall be resolved by a majority of votes.
5 -5- (g) When an amendment is declared carried it shall take place of the original motion when any further amendment can be proposed until the question is finally decided. (h) If any case shall arise not provided for in these standing orders, the same shall be decided in accordance with the standing orders in practice in the legislature of the state. SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS 11. It shall be lawful for nine members present at any meeting to suspend standing orders. ORDER OF DEBATE 12. (a) Any member desiring to propose a motion or amendment or to discuss any matter under consideration must rise and address the chairman. No member speaking shall be interrupted unless called to order when he shall sit down and the member so calling order shall be heard in preference to any other speaker, and the chairman shall decide without discussion upon the point of order before the subject is resumed or any other subject is entered upon. (b) No member shall speak on any motion after the same has been put by the chairman and voted on. When two speakers rise the chairman shall call upon the member who, in his opinion rose first. The mover and the seconder, except as seconder pro forma, of any motion or amendment shall be held to have spoken to the same. In the same discussion no member will be allowed to speak more than once, except the mover of the original motion, who shall have the right of reply. (c) A member when speaking must confine his remarks to the subject under debate and avoid personalities. He shall not use discourteous language or reflect on any member whilst in debate. Any member feeling dissatisfied with the decision of the chairman on any point of order may appeal to the members present provided the appeal is seconded. In cases of appeals from the chairman a temporary chairman shall be appointed and the question will be as follows shall the decision of the chairman stand as the judgment of this meeting? and the question will be decided without debate. (d) If after two (2) speakers have spoken successively on the same side of the question and no speaker follows on the other side the chairman shall submit the motion or amendment to the meeting after affording the mover the right of reply. (e) No motion that the question be now put shall be entertained at any meeting. (f) No new business shall be taken after 10.30pm at any meeting. (g) Unless a motion is carried to the contrary, reports and correspondence shall be taken as received Immediately upon being read. RECISION OF RESOLUTION 13. No resolution shall be rescinded except at a meeting after a notice of motion has been given at a previous meeting held at least fourteen (14) days prior. The rescission must be carried by a majority at a delegates meeting.
6 -6- SUBSCRIPTIONS 14. Fees shall be determined by the General Committee prior to the Annual General Meeting. Clubs to be responsible for collecting same. REGISTRATIONS 15. Registrations will be refused from players of unfinancial clubs from the previous season until the player s portion of the arrears has been received by the Association or the arrears have been paid by the club. 16. All registrations of eligible players are to be in the hands of the registrar within three (3) weeks of the first game. A new player who was not on the original nomination list must be registered before he can play, this can be done by phone/ and then a registration form must be in the hands of the registrar within seven (7) days of him playing. 17. The penalty for any club playing an ineligible player shall be a loss of points for that game plus any other penalty the committee decides to impose. TRANSFERS 18. (a) All applications for transfer shall be signed by the President or Secretary of the club that the player was last registered with. (b) All applications for transfer shall be dealt with by the executive committee. (c) If a club disbands during the course of a season, any player registered with that club must pay a percentage of any monies owing by that club before he can play for another club. Any Team disbanding after the first round will be fine $50. (d) No transfer will be granted after the 30 th June each year. (e) Any club which plays a player who has not complied with this rule shall forfeit all points obtained in any match such player has played in and whatever other penalty the committee may impose. (f) An inter-association transfer may be granted at any time subject to the approval by the committee. (g) In the case of any club changing its name, the members of the said club will be bound by the new club name. DEFAULTING PLAYERS 19. The secretary of any affiliated club shall send to the Association Secretary the name of the player who is in default by reason of a breach of the rules of the association together with the default of the rule infringed within seven (7) days of such default has been committed. The secretary of the club shall give notice, in writing, to such player of his intention to do so.
7 -7- DISQUALIFICATIONS 20. Should any association player misconduct himself or commit any offence against the laws of the game shall be dealt with by the protests and disputes committee in such a manner that the committee shall think fit. A player having been disqualified under these rules shall be reported to Darts WA. (a) Any player reported by his club to the secretary of the Association as a defaulter under rule 19 hereof shall be disqualified from playing in any Association game until his club has reported to the Association that he has appealed to the protest and dispute committee against the charge of default made against him and such appeal has been dealt with under the provisions of rule 20. (b) If any club shall include, in any team, any player who has been disqualified under the rules such club shall be liable to suspension or expulsion or any other penalty which the committee shall think fit to impose. (c) All players registered with the Association shall at all times abide by the Code of Rules applying to the game of darts and the Code of Conduct. Any player breaking these rules will be dealt with under rule 20. PAYMENT OF FEES, FINES ECT: 21. The Association will forward accounts, when applicable, to all clubs on the 28 th day of each calendar month and these accounts to be paid by the 21 st of the following month or a 10% fine on the outstanding amount will be charged. If clubs fail to comply with this rule clubs, teams, players are liable for disqualification or such penalties as the committee may impose. AGREEMENT WITH OTHER ASSOCIATIONS 22. The general committee may, from time to time, enter into any contract, agreement, with another association formed for the purpose of encouraging the sport of darts and may, by resolution, cancel and determine any such contract, agreement or other arrangements. LIFE MEMBERS 23. (a) A life Honorary Member may be appointed at the Annual General Meeting on the recommendation of the committee for special meritorious service to the Association and they will be exempt from paying all dues. (b) Honorary Life Members are the only exemption to Rule 3 (d) (c) Honorary life members can attend all General Committee meetings of the Association; they shall however have no voting rights at such meeting. (d) More than one Honorary Life Member may be nominated in any one year. POINTS NOT COVERED IN THESE RULES 24. Any points not covered in these rules, or omitted through oversight or printers error, shall be referred to the Committee whose decision shall be final subject only to appeal to the protests and disputes committee.
8 -8- PLAYING RULES 1. The board must be a bristle board having numbers clearly marked 1 to 20 with double ring and a treble ring. The bullseye to consist of an inner circle scoring 50 and an outer circle scoring 25. The 20 shall be a black section. The diameter shall be 457mm The diameter of the outer ring of the bullseye shall be 35mm. The inner circle of the bullseye shall be 51mm The distance from the centre of the bullseye to the outside treble wire shall be 106mm. The distance from the centre of the bullseye to the outside doubles wire shall be 170mm The width of the double and treble rings shall be 10mm. The Dart Board shall have divisions clearly marked and in no case shall the wires be out of true. FIXING THE BOARD 2. The dart board shall be firmly fixed at the height of 1.73m from its centre to the floor. It shall be set that a straight line running from the 20 division to the centre of the three divisions would be perpendicular. The board shall not be circled by rubber rings etc. Dart Boards must be WA Darts approved. DISTANCE OF THROW 3. The length of the throw of a Dart shall be 2.37m The measurement to be taken from a plumb line dropped from the centre of the bullseye to the floor, and from this spot to a line clearly marked and so called the Oche THE TOE LINE 4. The toe or foot line shall be clearly marked with a raised board or similar and material and called the Oche. It shall be at least 120cm running parallel to the Dart Board and be at least 25mm high. Players must toe the Oche, they may move along it as far as they like but must at all times be behind it. The Oche may not, at any time, be over trodden or trodden upon. MINIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS 5. A Team must consist of all male players. In exceptional circumstances a team may play short for four-a-side teams, if a player arrives prior to the completion of the 4s he may play in the remainder of the games. Six-a-side teams may play two players short; if a player arrives prior to the completion of the first triples he may play in the second triples if he has been named in the second triples. If he arrives before the completion of the second triples he may play in the doubles and singles. If he arrives after the second triples have been completed he may not take part in the game and the original players are to continue. It is permissible to play with four players without filling the top sides first but the top sides must be fielded first. (except in exceptional circumstances)
9 -9- Example: If a club has 3 teams, a B grade, C grade & E grade the B must play or the C & E will automatically lose their points for the night and will be fined under the forfeit rule. B & C must play for E to be able to play. THE DARTS 6. Maximum overall length must not exceed 20cm and not weight more than 50 grams. Each dart must have a recognisable needle shaped point, which will be fixed to a barrel. At the rear of the barrel shall be an attached flighted stem which may consist of up to four (4) separate pieces (i.e. a flight, a flight securing device, a flight protector and stem. THE THROW 7. (a) The Darts are to be deliberately thrown, one at a time, by the player s hand. (b) The throw shall consist of three (3) darts unless a leg, set or match is finished in less than three (3) darts or a score greater than what is needed is thrown in less than three (3) darts. (c) To be deemed a throw the dart must be propelled by some physical force, not merely dropped. (d) Any dart bouncing off or falling out of the dart board does not count and shall not be re- thrown. (e) During a game or match, a player whilst on the Oche, will not throw a dart until his opponent is behind the Oche and the marker has finished and has stood back in his position. (f) A player must retrieve his darts and walk back after a throw in such a manner so as not to interfere with the next player. (g) A leg, set or match can not start until the marker has called game on. (h) A player s opponent must stand at least one (1) metre behind the Oche whilst awaiting his turn. SCORERS AND MARKERS 8. The official scorer of any match shall take down the scores in a score book against the name of the player taking part in the game. They shall have full view of the game, the playing area and the scoreboard.
10 -10- (a) Callers duties: To announce the score on the board at the completion of the throw of three darts and check that the marker has scored correctly. If so desired, the thrower can ask caller at anytime during the throw, the number scored on the board. (b) Marker: The duties of the marker shall be to chalk the score onto the scoreboard. (c) Points: The caller will tell the player, if asked, how many points are needed to finish a leg or game but not what double is required. METHOD OF SCORING 9. Scoring: The scoring shall be recorded on a score board visible to both teams. The method of scoring shall be by subtracting the last score from the previous total and both scores must be entered on the board. (a) Game shot: If a player trying for game shot scores more or less than the number required he shall cease throwing and shall be considered to need the same score as before his throw commenced. Example: A player requires 10, with his first dart he scores 5, with his second he scores 1 and his third scores 17 this makes the score too many. When he throws again he will still require 10. His first dart scores 5, the second scores 1 and the third makes no score he will require 4 when he throws again. (b) Darts: The caller and the marker, are not to, under any circumstances, handle any dart. The thrower shall not remove his darts until the caller has called his score. Darts shall not be removed from the dart board in the case of a dispute until such time as the dispute is settled but in the case of the player pulling his darts the score called by the caller to count. (c) Any dart thrown by a player after scoring the required double shall not count as the respective leg or match has concluded by the dart scoring the required double. (d) Any protests shall be lodged with the opposing Captain and in the event of the conditions not being altered to comply with the protest, the captain making the protest to write on top of score sheet playing under protest. The protest has to be put in writing and sent to the Association Secretary within seven (7) days. (e) The captains of both teams shall mutually agree that the board and the conditions of play are satisfactory and in accordance with the rules. MATCH PLAY FOR POINTS: Method of scoring: Match points for a win is two (2) points.
11 -11- FORFEITS: 10. (a) Any club forfeiting will be fined as set at the first Committee meeting of the season plus match fees. The team winning on a forfeit will be awarded maximum points and at least four (4) players must sign the sheet for it to be accepted. If a team forfeits two (2) consecutive games all points for that team up to that time will be forfeited. (b) A Team forfeiting in the last two (2) weeks of the regular season shall be fined an amount to be decided on by the committee. START TO PLAY 11. (a) Home team captain to write his players names on the board first except for finals, where both teams will write their names on a piece of paper and approach the board together. The order in which written will be the order for the triples. (b) The opening game: To decide which team or player will throw first will be decided by the toss of a coin. The winner of the toss has the option of throwing first or second. Under no circumstances once a dart has been thrown past the oche shall it be given back to the player to throw again. If a player throws out of turn it shall be classed as No shot. Example: If c throws before b it is classed as no shot and b misses his turn. The opposition then throws and then c throws in his turn. (c) Once a captain has marked his players name on the board no other player may practice on that board. Captains must mark their next player promptly at the completion of each game. Players are only allowed nine (9) practice darts on the designated match board once their name has been marked for the next game. No practice darts are permitted between legs; this can bring about an instant forfeit. (d) Order of play: From the first game and thereafter, the first shot shall alternate. (e) The team winning each game will mark their players name first for the next game. (f) Time of play: All matches will be played on Monday night of each week commencing at 7.50pm sharp. In the event of a game not starting by 8pm a forfeit may be claimed. (g) Games may start earlier than 7.50pm if all players are present. (h) Rules in this section do not apply to championship games. SCORE SHEETS: 12. The home team is to be shown first on all score sheets irrespective of who wins the toss. Players are to sign their names against the first game and not PRINT them. Surnames and initials are to be printed on the balance of the sheet. The home team is responsible for the completion of the score sheet in all respects including the calculations of averages of both teams. Failing to do so will incur a $20 fine. The Home team is responsible for the return of the score sheet (original) to the Registrar by 7pm on the Tuesday following the game. A fine of $20 plus $20 per week will be imposed for the late sheet or non return of the score sheet.
12 -12- MATCH PLAY FOR GAMES: 13. All games to be straight start double finish. Four-a-side: A maximum of five (5) players per side and the 5 players maybe rotated as long as they are all named on the board before the commencement of the game. First game to be fours 1001x: Second, third, fourth and fifth games are to be Singles 501x best of three. Sixth & seventh games to be doubles 601x best of three. Eight, ninth, tenth & eleventh games are to singles 501x best of three. No player can play the same player twice in the singles. The first four named must play the first game. Six-a-side: A Reserve: First & second games to be triples 801x Third, fourth & fifth games to be doubles 601x best of three. Sixth through to eleventh games to be Singles 501x best of three. Six-a-side: B Grade: First & second games to be triples 801x Third, fourth & fifth games to be doubles 801x. Sixth through to eleventh games to be Singles 501x best of three. Six-a-side: All other Grades: First & second games to be triples 801x Third, fourth & fifth games to be doubles 801x. Sixth through to eleventh games to be Singles 501x. DARTS IN AND OUT OF PLAY 14. Darts in and out of play: Scoring Darts are those sticking in the board on the completion of the throw of three darts and shall be indicated by the point of the dart which must be definitely in or touching the board. (a) Darts out of play: Darts that rebound out of the board, darts that stick into other darts, darts that fall or are knocked out of the board before the throw is completed. Three darts in double or the bullseye ring is not game shot unless the total in either the double or the bullseye add up to the score required. 15. In the event of a tied game one teams game of 801x is to be played. This is to be played in the same order as the triples. Winner of the original toss has the choice to shoot first or second. ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS 16. (a) It shall be permissible once they have registered with a club to transfer to a higher grade, but once they have played 10 games in the higher grade they shall not transfer to a lower grade. (b) Where a club has two (2) or more teams in the one grade each team will have a distinctive name and after the 14 th playing date of the season, may not change from one team to another in that grade.
13 -13- FINALS 17. The first four teams in each grade to play off in their respective grade finals. (a) No player shall play in more than one semi final, one pre-lim final or one grand final in any one season. (b) All the finals to be played in neutral venues where possible (with the exception of A Grade.) but the final decision to be made by the committee. (c) A player must have played at least seven (7) games for their club to be eligible to play in Finals. (d) A player may be upgraded in Final round fixtures subject to rule 17c. (e) A club unable to comply with the forgoing conditions for the final rounds may apply to the General Committee for special dispensation. CHAMPIONSHIPS 18. (a) Singles: All grades to be at least 501x best of three games. Winner of the toss to shoot first for the bull and the closest to the bull will shoot first in the first game, second in the second game, and if a third game is necessary, will shoot first in the third. (b) Doubles: All games will be at least 601x best of three games. Winner of the toss to shoot first for the bull and the closest to the bull will shoot first in the first game, second in the second game, and if a third game is necessary, will shoot first in the third. No player will be permitted to play without a partner. (c) In grade singles and doubles a player can only play in one (1) grade in any one year and it must be in the grade they have played their most games in or their last three (3) (or higher) (d) Format to be announced on the night by the organizers and their decision will be final. MISCELLANEOUS 19. Noise is to be kept to a minimum whilst games are in progress. 20. Mobile phones are to be turned off or turned right down in the playing area. 21. No open footwear, Singlets, Tank Tops or head gear permitted and a decent standard of dress is required at all times. 22. Playing shirts must have collars and sleeves. 23. Do not argue with an official, if you disagree with something call for the game to be stopped and ask for the official in charge on the night for a ruling. Control your temper---no criticism by word or gesture of officials and no sledging other players. Deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable. Be a good sport and encourage your team mates but do it in an orderly manner, remember you may not be the only team in the room playing. Show respect for your opponents and their skills. Treat all participants in the sport of darts as you like to be treated. Be friendly to all participants. Taking of non prescribed drugs is prohibited.
