2. Executive summary 2.1 Key findings The schl leadership team understands the need fr reliable schl data t drive the schl s imprvement agenda. A recently established data team is wrking with the reginal data cach. The data plan has cnsidered and specific areas in the junir and senir schl. A timeline is t be gradually intrduced and implemented during 2016. The schl s imprvement agenda is sharp and narrw with the selectin f fur pririties fr 2016. Staff members articulate ne f the 2016 pririties that have a specific whle-schl target. Withut specific and measurable targets aligned t pririties, capabilities are necessary t measure success and devlve accuntability fr achievement levels thrughut the schl. Frmal Faculty Imprvement Plans where departments have set faculty gals are yet t be develped. The schl s learning envirnment is safe, respectful, tlerant and inclusive. While there is sme evidence f the prmtin f academic rigur there is limited evidence f the use f data t prmte higher levels f student mtivatin and academic achievement. The schl has many lng-term staff members. Teachers take active rles beynd the classrm. There appear t be gaps in the schl s apprach t the achievement f student learning and success, the pursuit f cntinuus imprvement, including classrm-based learning, and mentring and caching. The schl has curriculum prgrams in place. The curriculum shws evidence f being respnsive t lcal needs with subjects such as agriculture and animal husbandry. The curriculum plan is shared with parents, families and the wider cmmunity. The schl is in the early phases f the develpment f a data culture that will infrm schl-wide differentiatin. Teachers are using student data t mdify their teaching practice t address individual student s learning needs. 4

Implement mentring and caching prgrams that include supervisry, instructinal and peer-t-peer caching and walkthrughs. Develp an explicit, cherent and sequenced whle-schl curriculum plan.
