8 Electrical flowchart of the BRD Rectifier will be used to convert AC current to the required DC voltage. Stepper motor in turn will lower or raise the BRD frame.

9 Parts to be ordered Lens for mower headlights. New carburetor for the lawn mower.

10 Carburetor Solenoid of the carburetor sends too much fuel, leads to leakage after a short time of operation. In stock at Ellington Agway, Costs 150 dollars.

11 Lawnmower: Lights Plastic lens needs to be replaced. 18 dollar part available at Sears.

12 Leg Room Lawn mower has plenty of leg room to allow Shane to transfer from his right to his left. Shift can shift back if more leg room is needed.

13 Mower Deck Height The lever has some resistance when it is moved. Lower picture shows the lever mechanism that we will alter to ease the resistance when Shane changes the deck height.

14 Power Take off Lever Engages power to cutting deck when thrown to the on position. Did not engage during mower testing so will need to be investigated further.

15 Brake and Accelerator Will be controlled by two actuators. They will push on the correct pedal in the desired sequence. Brake pedal must always be pushed before shifting to apply tension to the drive belt.

16 Space Beneath Battery Compartment Located underneath the seat. Allows for easy access to the mower deck height cable, main deck pulley and subsequent deck pulleys. Will play a key role in mower analysis and diagnostics.

17 AJD Stopper will be at the end of the vertical extension piece. Will be a cheap and easy fix.

18 BRD Motor Placement Motor mount placed on footboard to avoid high traffic area s of Sean s room. Encased in a custom made plastic enclose to avoid motor snagging. Custom made hinge will be made to allow for 180 degrees of motion.

19 BRD Solidworks: Motor Encasement Plastic housing unit that will enclose the BRD s stepper motor. Will prevent objects from snagging or getting caught in the motors mechanical system.

20 BRD Motor and hinge mechanism The motor s shaft will line up with the hinge mechanism. Hinge mechanism consists of shaft and ringlet that serves as the path of motion.
