1 Team Name: Fordham University Mascot: Rams Location: 441 E Fordham Road, Bronx NY Captain(s)/Coach(s): Tyler Signora (President), Bob Hamilton (Vice President) Season Record: 11-4 Final Conference Ranking/World Series Results: Missed playoffs by 1 game 2017 Fall Record (NCBA Sanctioned Games Only): 6-2 Chris Calamari undefeated at 4-0, CJ Hanrahan hitting over.600 Number of Returning Players (Include conference/league award winners): 15 Players to Watch: Chris Calamari, CJ Hanrahan, Kevin Fox, and Billy Maughan, Trevor McGovern New additions: Kevin Fox, Jake Lane, Christian Corado, Alex LoPorto, Brett Taylor, Joe Brynes, Trevor McGovern Biggest Rival: Lehigh Best Player Nickname: Joe DiProsperos - Nicknames include: Joey D, Joey Smiles, Joey Pitchers, and Joey DiPotroast Season Outlook: Our season will come down to our matchup against Lehigh. They are just ahead of us at 5-1. If we can take care of business in our one game against Stevens Tech, then we just need to take 2 of 3 from Lehigh to win the conference. Lehigh hits extremely well, so we will have to lean on our strong pitching and defense to take those games. Manager Quote: We feel that we have the most depth of any team and that if we play to our strengths and our game, not down to our opponents, we will come out of the conference on top.

Fall '17 Stats:.360 AVG, 3 SB New additions: Jr. Mike Moritz, OF/P and So. Jacob Stuckelman, 3B, both returning from abroad Biggest Rival: SUNY Cortland Best Player Nickname: Fancy Pants (Jacob Stuckelman) Season Outlook: We are exicted for the return of Stuckelman and Moritz, two of our best players who were abroad in the fall. We fielded a very young team in the fall, and look forward to improving as a team for the spring semester with a better balance of experienced and new players. Nick Arpino was by far our fall MVP, second on the team in batting average from the 3-4 spot and leading in innings pitched. While only going 1-2 as a starter, he easily could have been 3-0 if our bats gave him a little more help. He will certinly be crucial to our success in the spring.
3 We also are exicted to see Fr. Jason Greenberg return to our leadoff spot. Greenburg was a solid 1-hitter who rarely struck out and led the team in batting average. For the spring season, the Bombers have 1 3-game series scheduled at SUNY Oneonta and a number of makeup games against conference opponents. Manager Quote: none
