Lehigh hits extremely well, so we will have to lean on our strong pitching and defense to take those games. We fielded a very young team in the fall, and look forward to improving as a team for the spring semester with a better balance of experienced and new players. Nick Arpino was by far our fall MVP, second on the team in batting average from the 3-4 spot and leading in innings pitched. While only going 1-2 as a starter, he easily could have been 3-0 if our bats gave him a little more help. He will certinly be crucial to our success in the spring.

3 We also are exicted to see Fr. Jason Greenberg return to our leadoff spot. Greenburg was a solid 1-hitter who rarely struck out and led the team in batting average. For the spring season, the Bombers have 1 3-game series scheduled at SUNY Oneonta and a number of makeup games against conference opponents. Manager Quote: none

Lots of weather issued caused games to be cancelled and resheduled which is tough to work around. Come the spring were ready to come be a competerter out of the gates and fight for a playoff spot.
