8 Season Outlook: As defending Great American South Champions, Great American Region Champions, Division II Runner-Up, and one of the few remaining World Series partipants from last season still in D2, we have a big target on our back heading into this season. After losing a lot of senior leadership, some young players are going to get the chance to fill those roles. We return a very strong core from our World Series run and have reloaded well as shown by our 2nd straight bracket appearance at Wood Wars. Our conference as a whole looks to be very competitive this season and will be a challenge for us to claim our third conference title in four years, but a challenge we are excited about. As a program, we carry a.754 winning percentage, and look to continue our winning ways in Biggest Games in 2019: - February Oklahoma State - February 23rd/24th vs Iowa (DI) - March Kansas (DI) - March Arkansas - April 6th/7th vs Central Arkansas Manager Quote: This is a very talented group, maybe our most talented since I ve been with the program. 12 Season Outlook: For the season we are excited to have a couple two new teams in our confrence. Having the opportunity to play teams like Creighton and Kansas State is going to be awesome. Although, we had to find a lot of new talent for the upcoming season, the guys we found either have a lot of varsity experience in high school, and former JUCO arms who look to give club baseball a shot. Our team is close group of friends who are excited to get things rolling. Our goal for the season is to get back into regionals and make sure all of our guys get a good amount of playing time. 14 Season Outlook: After losing a multitude of core players this past offseason, we're looking to reload and earn our second consecutive trip to the regional playoff. The fall semester put us on our heels a bit, but it also let us learn who we are as a team. This spring we will be expecting to win a lot of games, with our pitching leading the way.
