5 A side Note I played a decade of professional baseball once removed from college after my senior year. I am a single parent and have raised an awesome fine young man who attends Pepperdine University with a scholarship for baseball. I returned to college after 20 years and have recently graduated. I have enjoyed learning once again and I understand the value and dedication student athletes must have to succeed academically while playing collegiate sports.
