2 GRAN FONDO LLORET COSTA BRAVA 2018 The 29th of April the1st Edition of Gran Fondo Lloret Costa Brava will be celebrated. This cyclist march starts and finish at Lloret de Mar and it will go by the internal and coastal roads of Girona s province. It consists of 2 routes for all those cycling lovers, Gran Fondo of 162 km and Medio Fondo of 91 km.

8 TIMING Gran Fondo Lloret Costa Brava is a non-competitive race, but we offer the final time of each participant and time of Alt de Sant Grau uphill. - Alt de Sant Grau (2nd cat) km 19 (GF and MF) Timing will be carried out through the bib number which must be placed on the frontal part of the bike. Claims will not be accepted for an incorrect place of bib number, disqualified participants or participants out of time.

9 CUT-OFF TIME Llagostera (km 38): 2h of march (11h in the morning) Calonge (km 106, only GF): 6h of march (15h in the afternoon) Lloret de Mar (finish line): 9h (18h in the evening) In case the participant cannot pass the cut-off time, the Organization will not be responsible for those participants who want to keep running but without refreshments points, volunteers, assistance nor Medical Insurance. Organization will recommend a more direct route to the finish line. Organization will put an assistance car (green flag) which will close the race and also for the use of serious incidences. The cut-off time is calculated for a 18 km/h of average speed.

10 ABANDONMENT & DISQUALIFICATION How to proceed in case of abandonment: 1. Notify the organization (in the refreshment points or calling at ). 2. Option 1: return to the finish line on your own (faster way). 3. Option 2: if option 1 is impossible then the Organization will facilitate the return to Lloret de Mar. Disqualification reasons: - Non-compliance of obligatory gear requirements. - Non-compliance of current circulation rules. - Not respecting the environment (throw any material on the road), others cyclists or the Organization/volunteers. Organization has right to disqualify any participant in case this do not compliance the rules. If the disqualification is during the race, the cyclist will be notified, being out of race services.

11 MARKING During the course will be the next indications: Volunteers Indicative arrows of Federació Catalana de Ciclisme Indicative posters of distance and mountain passes Indications will be only at conflictive spots, therefore, if there is no indications the race track will always follow straight on the transiting road. 18 ACCESS Start and finish will be at Avinguda del Rieral 16, front of municipal Athletics Track of Lloret de Mar. Car: Exit 9 AP7 Exit 134 A32 N-II Public transport: train from Barcelona to Blanes and then bus until Lloret.

19 RECOMMENDED PARKING Street Avinguda del Rieral 16 (start and finish point) will be closed to the traffic on Sunday. We recommend to park in the outskirts. Arrive with enough time to find parking. Organization will put indications to recommended parkings.

20 IMPORTANT POINTS Necessary to present DNI/passport to collect bib number and also the cyclist statement sheet (attached at the end of this Guide). Present the current federative licence (otherwise you must pay the insurance). As a 1 st edition there is no start boxes, but organization has right to establish a first box for guests. The start will be neutralized until the municipal exit. During the race Mossos d Esquadra (police) and organization will control the race and leaders speed. 24 CYCLIST STATEMENT FOR PARTICIPANTS IN GRAN FONDO LLORET COSTA BRAVA (Hereinafter as "March") Mr / Mrs DNI / Passport No participates on April 29 of 2018 in the March organized by Sportevents 360, hereinafter the Organizer, and declares: I know the contents of March regulations available on the Organizer website, and I totally accept them. I have knowledge that the March is a cyclist March, where competition is excluded, and therefore there will not be anything like a competitive race. That March passes through open public roads, and my circulation will respect the current signals and especially the indications of law enforcement and civil defence personnel and also the Organization. I accept the inherent risks involved in open transit route. I agree to abide the rules of the Road Safety Law and its Regulations, looking for my safety and also for other participants and users of public roads. I hereby release the March Organization of liabilities arising from any accident caused for reasons linked to circulation events or sports accidents. I hereby release Organization from any damage which for health reasons could arise from my participation in the March, personally assuming the inherent health risk that supposes the physical effort required for this March participation. I declare to know the risks of participation in the March, such as: Existence of all types of vehicles circulating outside the Organization along the route. Those vehicles circulating among cyclists as ordinary road users. I accept and know that I will find all kinds of vehicles traveling in both directions. I accept and know that there are crossings not regulated by the March Organization where any type of vehicle can be incorporated. There are dangerous trams where I will have to exercise extreme caution. There are long descents with curves which I will have to reduce speed to avoid personal or others injuries. There are sections where the road conditions do not have the safety recommendations and I hereby release the Organization from any harm I may have due to poor asphalt maintenance or as result of defects on the road infrastructure. There is a possibility of having a sporting accident linked to cycling, personally taking responsibility for accidents that I may cause to any March participant, excluding Organization for any liability arising from this accident. There is a possibility of causing an accident to a third person out of the March, integrally assuming personal responsibility about the accident and excluding the Organization for any liability arising from this accident.
