1 Play Fair Monthly e-news letter Dope Testing National Anti Doping Agency July 2018 (Issue-XIX) During the month of June, 2018, dope test were carried out at the following main events/places in addition to out of competition tests: Date Events Competition 2 nd June, 2018 Cycling Players Selection Trials, SAI Patiala National 2 nd June, 2018 ISA Jr. Open Squash Championship 2018, Chennai National 9 th June, 2018 Wrestling Players Selection Trials, SAI Sonepat National 9 th June, 2018 Training Camp of Archery Players at SAI Sonepat National June, 2018 Training Camp of Sportspersons at SAI Patiala National 13 th June, 2018 Training Camp of Sportspersons at Bhopal National 24 th June, 2018 Training Camp of Basketball Players at Bangalore National 28 th June, 2018 Weightlifting Players Selection Trials, SAI Patiala National June, th National State Athletics Championship at Guwahati National Dope testing during sports quota recruitment by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Consequent upon request received from CISF regarding conduct of dope test in the sports quota recruitment, NADA has conducted 05 nos. of dope tests in Athletics, Boxing and Judo disciplines from June 26-27, Awareness sessions to prevent drug abuse in sports were also conducted by NADA for candidates during such recruitment process. 2 by the Panel for hearing. The Panel held 02 sittings during the month of June, 2018, and issued 04 orders as per the following details: S. Mr. Saurabh Boxing Hearing held on 12/06/2018 and order Chand 12/06/2018 The Anti-Doping Appeal Panel (ADAP) As per the Anti Doping Rules of NADA, an appeal can be filed by the athlete and other parties against the order of the ADDP. 4 Awareness session to prevent drugs abuse in sports for candidates for sports recruitment of CISF on and observance of International Yoga day on respectively Conclave on developing Clean Sports Ecosystem: Athlete Perspective on Anti-doping A conclave on Developing a Clean Sports Ecosystem: Athlete Perspective on Anti-Doping was organized by National Anti Doping Agency on at Vigyan Bhawan Annexe, New Delhi. The conclave aimed primarily to focus on the athletes and their needs towards developing a clean sports ecosystem in the country with specific reference to anti doping. This conclave was organized primarily for the Registered Testing Pool athletes to make them aware of recent developments in the web based ' whereabouts module' of the Anti Doping Administration and Management System. Anti doping charter of athlete rights is also being prepared, which was also discussed during the conclave. Sh. Rahul Bhatnagar, Secretary, Sports and Sh. Navin Agarwal, DG, NADA with Ms. Deepa Karmakar, Olympian Gymnast during the Conclave held on 27 th, June 2018 at New Delhi International Cooperation: 15 th Asia/ Oceania Region Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting was attended by Sh. Navin Agarwal, DG, NADA which was held at Colombo, Sri Lanka from June The meeting was organized

5 by Sri Lankan Anti Doping Agency and the President & Director General of WADA, Sports Minister of Sri Lanka and Nepal and other participants from Asia/ Oceania region attended the meeting. WADA strategic policies, code compliance issues, consequences for non-compliance, UNESCO framework, proposed international standards for education and anti doping charter etc. were discussed during the meeting. Dr. Ankush Gupta, Project Officer was deputed to attend the International Anti Doping Seminar in Asia held in Seoul, Republic of South Korea from June The International Seminar was organized by Korea Anti Doping Agency (KADA) which was focused on the capacity building of anti doping organizations, strengthening anti doping education program and WADA audit code compliance monitoring program.
