7 Company History Introduction In 2011 setting up a production line for the manufacturing of Microgranules based on Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) In 2012 start of compounds and Microgranules production at new production site in D-Remscheid Co-operation with compounder and grinder for the production of standard compounds and powder PP : Opening new possibilities in rotomoulding 7

8 Company Staff Burkhard Reck Loyal to the European Rotational Moulding market for almost 2 decades, joined HD Kunststoffe beginning of 2012 and is fully in charge of the Rotational Moulding business at HD Kunststoffe Heinrich Derenowski The founder and owner of HD Kunststoffe, he developed PP Microgranules together with TOTAL and he now leaded the process to its technical maturity PP : Opening new possibilities in rotomoulding 8

Microgranules are a special delivery form of thermoplastic polymers: Reproducible small granules in lenses form Finished product in one process: Better control of the production process, preserve the polymer properties (only one thermal impact), energy saving (participant at Effizienz-Preis von NRW - MP Johannes Remmel) Challenges of compact shape: Better dry-flow - no bridging, easier, cleaner and less dangerous handling (no dust) PP : Opening new possibilities in rotomoulding 10

11 Product Product Discription Polypropylene and Microgranules HD eco-tech - trade name of the PP Microgranules - opens new economical possibilities and solutions for Rotational Moulding: - weight reduction through optimisation of wall thickness (30-40% less material) - extreme high impact strength (>64 KJ/m2 at 23 C), also relatively good at minus temperatures - extreme good heat resistance (up to 148 C) - very nice and shiny inside and outside surface possible - based on Total polypropylene PP : Opening new possibilities in rotomoulding 11
