2 Training Description: This course is designed for a broad audience and is participative and interactive, utilizing basic technical exercises and terminology to communicate key learning points. This course does not cover the technology and engineering principles in depth, and is only recommended for those needing an overview of the industry and common processes and equipment used. Training Objective: By the end of the training, participants will be able to: Learn and explain the components found in natural gas produced from field to sales grade specification and why this is important Review and list the major products from a gas plant and how these products can be produced from a gas plant Study and calculate gas law related variables. Use a Mollier Diagram to understand how physical properties are used in gas processing and to calculate some engineering data used in gas plant operations Understand and describe the different gas processing unit operations and be familiar with the terminology associated with gas plant operations. Some simple engineering calculations will be done for selected unit operations Draw simple block and process diagrams of different gas processing unit Operations Training Designed for: This course is intended for all gas processing and refinery operations personnel, refinery process engineers and other personnel outside the company s refineries who wish to improve their knowledge of Gas Processing Operations.
