1 Nebraska Select Fall 2018 Information The page contains specific information on the Nebraska Select program for the fall 2018 season. For general information on the Nebraska Select program please visit our home page on the Kearney Soccer club website. Nebraska Select Home Page Requirement - All players wishing to participate in our program for the fall 2018 season MUST commit to Nebraska League play. The Nebraska League fall season runs from late August thru early November. Game dates in the fall are primarily on Sundays. U15 teams will also play on Saturdays. Players may NOT choose to play tournaments only in the fall. Players who choose not to play in the fall are NOT assured a place on our tournament teams in the spring/summer. Player Placement To be considered for placement in our program a player must first complete our player information form. Here is a link to that form: Player Information Form New Players Potential players who have never participated with our program must meet certain criteria in order to play with our program. Kearney residents must meet our financial and participation requirements. Non-Kearney residents must meet those same financial/participation requirements plus they must be invited into the program based on an evaluation or tryout. An evaluation may occur via a high school contest or thru attendance at a Nebraska Select practice. A tryout may be scheduled in accordance with Nebraska State Soccer rules. Most importantly you should contact Mike Munch early and directly to express your interest in joining the program. Returning Players Players who have previously played in the NS program will need to complete Player Information Form above. Player Addition Players may be added to the Nebraska Select program at any time. There are times of year (summer, early spring and high school season) where additions traditionally occur, but we are not bound by any timeline. We are also a SELECT program - the MISSION, HISTORY and NATURE of the program are that we try to find the most talented players from around the region and state. This policy was/is the basis for the formation of the program. But we also accept ALL Kearney players who can accept our guidelines. These are not contradictory goals; we structure our program in such a manner as to provide programming for all of our participants.

2 Fall 2018 Program Description TRYOUTS There will not be any organized tryouts for the fall 2018 Nebraska Select Program. New players should contact Coach Munch and follow the New Player checklist described above. STATE LEAGUE TEAMS We expect to have players in our program this fall. For STATE LEAGUE we will divide our players by age into four teams. Nebraska Select 00 U19 Team - For players born in 2000 and 2001 Will play in Nebraska League U19 First or Premier Division Nebraska Select 01 U18 Team - For players born in Will play in Nebraska League U19 Premier Division Nebraska Select 02 U17 Team - For players born in 2002 and 2003 Will play in Nebraska League U17 Premier Division Nebraska Select 04 U15 Team - For players born in 2003 Will play in Nebraska League U15 First Division Should we have an unexpectedly higher or lower turnout of players, these plans may have to be altered to fit our total numbers. At that time our out of town players will have a limited ability to attend practice regularly if at all. We will offer training 2-3 times a week with flexibility on when players may attend. Those days/times will be established at a later date.

PROCEDURE 1. You will need to complete the Player Information Form (link on page 1) 2. You will need to send in a deposit of $200 for fall season we will send you an invoice for that deposit when we receive your completed form above. Deposits are due by July 2, You will need to register with Kearney Soccer Club any time after June You will need to provide to me any dates on which you may have conflict particularly if you are not able to attend an assigned tournament.
