5 Matt divided $776 among himself and his three children to use for Christmas presents. His son, Rusty, spent $79 to buy one gift. How much money does Rusty still have to buy more gifts?

6 Kylie makes bracelets using little colored rubber bands. She has 214 red rubber bands, 123 blue rubber bands, 83 yellow rubber bands, 203 purple rubber bands, 56 pink rubber bands, and 102 green rubber bands. Each bracelet requires 40 rubber bands. How many bracelets can Kylie make with the materials she has?

7 Brittany was throwing a big birthday party at her house for her friend. She bought 23 packages of paper plates to serve the cake on. Each package of paper plated contained 36 plates. How many plates did Brittany purchase for the birthday party?

8 Ryan had 4 homework assignments to complete over the weekend. Each homework assignment took him 24 minutes to complete. How many minutes did Ryan spend completing his homework over the weekend?

9 Each table in the school cafeteria can sit sixteen people. If there are a total of 18 tables in the cafeteria, how many people can sit and eat lunch at one time?

10 There were 194 students going on a field trip on buses. The students could sit 3 to a seat on the bus. How many seats are needed for everyone to fit?

11 Breanna earned $414 while babysitting over the summer. She earned $6 for each hour she babysat. How many hours did Breanna babysit?

12 The Crumbling Cookie Sweet Shop sold $3,980 worth of cookies this month. This money was made selling chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar, sprinkle, and almond cookies. If they made about the same amount of money from each type of cookie, about how much money was made from each kind of cookie sold?

13 Sherry just bought 17 new boxes of paperclips for her office. Each box contains 1,000 paper clips. How many total paper clips are in all the boxes?

14 Gabriella makes handmade bracelets to sell. This weekend she is attending a jewelry show to sell some of her bracelets. She will be displaying 248 of her bracelets for the show. If she plans of displaying the bracelets equally on 6 tables, how many bracelets should she put on each table?

15 There are 42 classrooms at Beaver Elementary. Each of those classrooms has 22 desks, 25 chairs, and 4 computers. How many desks are in all of the classrooms at Beaver Elementary?

16 Brent and his four friends put together a large garage sale to earn money to pay for summer camp. The boys made a total of $1,632. How much money should each boy get if the money is split equally among them?

17 The PE teacher passed out basketballs, jump ropes, and Frisbees to each student in his class. There were 35 students in his class and each student received one basketball, one jump rope, and one Frisbee. How many total pieces of equipment were handed out to the students in the class?

18 Mrs. Sikes got a new shipment of fruit for her fruit stand. There were 12 cartons of pears delivered. Each carton contained 47 pears. How many pears did Mrs. Sikes receive in the shipment?

19 A baker is selling boxes of donuts. Each box has 12 glazed donuts and 18 chocolate donuts. He is selling each box for $28. If he sells 32 boxes, how much money will he make?

20 The swimming club at Pearce High School has 94 swimmers. They will travel to a tournament in Florida in vans. If each van can hold 9 people, how many vans are needed to get all of the swimmers to Florida?

21 Allie and her 4 friends each paid $14 to see a movie and get a drink at the theater. How much money did the friends spend on their movie tickets and drinks?

22 Bobby the baker at Albertsons is making fresh cupcakes. He has packed 49 boxes with 7 cupcakes in each box. How many cupcakes has Bobby packaged so far?

23 A farmer has 288 ears of corn and 413 potatoes. He is planning to fill baskets with these vegetables. He will fill each basket with 8 vegetables. How many baskets will the farmer need so that all of the vegetables are in baskets?

24 The members at New Haven Church donated 471 cans to the food drive. Each of 6 families donated the same amount of cans. How many cans did each of those families donate?

25 Mrs. Given has 27 boxes of colored pencils in her classroom with 18 colored pencils in each box. She also had 13 boxes of crayons. How many colored pencils does Mrs. Given have altogether?

26 Jeff is having several friends over to his house to watch the Super Bowl. He has decided to order nine pizzas for him and his friends. Each pizza is going to cost twelve dollars. How much money will is cost Jeff to purchase the pizzas for the get-together?

27 A baker is making 34 boxes of fresh-baked cookies. He is making 57 boxes of cookies with 3 flavors in each box. Each box will contain a dozen cookies and will cost $11. How much money will the baker make if he is able to sell of the boxes he makes?

28 Mr. and Mrs. Jones are going Christmas shopping for their 4 children. They are planning on spending a total of $985 on all four children. How much money should they spend on gifts for each child in order to be completely fair?

29 Trent, Kyle, and Brandon s parents allow their sons to watch a total of 250 minutes of television each week. If the boys choose to split the time equally among themselves, about how many minutes of television watching should each boy get each week?

30 The Yummy Treats Bakery sold 987 cupcakes this past month. They sold vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, coconut, lemon, and carrot cake cupcakes. If they sold about the same number of each flavor of cupcake, about how many strawberry and banana cupcakes her sold last month?

31 Lauren is selling Girl Scout cookies. So far, she has sold 93 boxes of cookies. Each box of cookies costs $4. How much money has Lauren made on her Girl Scout cookies so far?

33 Michael, Joey, and Sam went fishing for the weekend. In total, the boys caught 103 fish. Each boy is planning to take home an equal amount of the fish and they will throw back any extras left over. How many fish will each boy take home?

34 Mrs. Wilson bought 126 tomato plants to plant in her garden. However, before she planted them, 39 died and had to be thrown away. Each row in her garden can accommodate 9 tomato plants. How many rows of the garden will Mrs. Wilson need to use in order to plant the rest of her tomato plants?

35 The Rainy Day Umbrellas Store is placing a large order of umbrellas for the Spring season. They have ordered 617 umbrellas to be sold during the months of April, May, and June. They ordered about the same number of 5 different colors of umbrellas. About how many did they order of each color?

36 Greg went to the library and checked out 9 books to read over summer vacation. Each book had 92 pages. How many pages will Greg read throughout the summer if he reads all of the books completely?

37 At a book sale, DeAnne bought 8 books for $15 each. How much money did DeAnne spend to buy her new books?

38 Johanna has started making beaded bracelets to sell in order to save up money for a trip she wants to go on. Each bracelet she makes requires 22 beads. She has 93 glass beads, 214 metal beads, and 354 plastic beads. How many bracelets can Johanna make with the beads she currently has?

39 Carla is making party favor bags for her daughters birthday party. She is preparing 23 bags with 9 pieces of candy and 4 prizes in each bag. How many total items will Carla need in order to fill all 23 bags for the party?

40 Jessica sold 59 rolls of wrapping paper for the school fundraiser. Her friend, Franciel, sold three times as many rolls of wrapping paper as Jessica. How many rolls of wrapping paper did Franciel sell?

41 New Beginnings Charity collected 1,043 coats during their annual coat drive. They collected about the same number of coats each month for 4 months. Approximately how many coats were donated each month?

42 Brent and his two friends were digging for worms for their fishing trip. The boys collected 87 worms while digging. They want to share the worms among each other so that they each have the same amount. How many worms should each boy get?

43 Emily has 38 ringtones on her phone. Her friend, Chase, has four times as many ringtones on his phone. How many ringtones are on Chase s phone?

44 Dennis made $456 by doing jobs around his neighborhood over the summer. This is half as much money as his brother earned by working at the local video store over the summer. How much money did Dennis brother make throughout the summer?

45 Farmer Henry is packaging fresh eggs to take to the market on Sunday. He has packaged 69 cartons of eggs with a dozen eggs in each carton. If these are the only eggs he takes with him, how many total eggs is Farmer Henry taking to the market?

46 Mrs. Romero has 8 containers of pencils in her classroom. Each container has 37 pencils in it. How many pencils does Mrs. Romero have in all of her pencil containers?

47 Shirley and her mother are planting new flowers in their garden beds for Spring. They have bought 230 flowers to plant and can plant 12 in each row in the flower beds. How many rows of flowers will they need to plant in order to have enough room for all the new flowers?

48 Mrs. Cannon has 6 vases of flowers around her house. Right now, each vase contains 7 flowers. How many flowers fill the vases throughout Mrs. Cannon s house?

49 The high school band is traveling to a band competition. There will be 186 students attending the competition and 33 adults. Each van they will be driving can hold 8 people. How many vans will be needed in order to transport everyone to the competition?

50 Megan has reading log homework every day of the week. If she reads for 35 minutes each day, how many minutes would she have read in 4 weeks?

51 Tiffany has started making beaded bracelets to sell in order to save up money for a necklace she is really wanting to buy. She needs to save a total of $567 in order to buy the necklace. If she is planning on selling each bracelet for $9, how many bracelets would she need to sell in order to be able to buy the necklace she is wanting?

52 Lily is hoping to win the school spelling bee. In order to prepare for the bee, she spends 25 minutes practicing her spelling words each night. If she practices her spelling words every night for 4 weeks, how many minutes of practice will Lily have completed by the end of the 4 weeks?

53 The fourth grade teachers at Miller Elementary School have a total of 165 packages of markers to stock their supplies for the school year. If there are five teachers and each teacher is to receive the same number of packages, how many packages of markers should each teacher get?

54 There are 98 students in fifth grade at Parkhill Elementary School. Each fifth grader has paid 10 dollars to go on a school camping trip. How much money has been collected for the camping trip?

55 Kay is making trays of cookies for a party she is hosting at her house. She has prepared 6 trays of cookies with 56 cookies on each tray. How many cookies did Kay make to fill the trays?

56 At Nickel Elementary School, there will be 192 students participating in Field Day. If the students are put into teams of 8, how many teams will be created?

57 A baker is making 34 boxes of fresh-baked cookies. He is making 57 boxes of cookies with 3 flavors in each box. Each box will contain a dozen cookies and will cost $11. How many cookies does the baker need to make in order to fill all the boxes?

58 Coach Erin is ordering new pom-poms for the dancers on her drill team. There are 38 dancers and each dancer will need 2 new red pop-poms and 2 new clue pompoms. The pom-poms for each dancer will cost a total of ten dollars. How much will it cost to buy the new pom-poms for all the dancers?

59 Katrina works as a manager at the movie theater. She makes $617 each week. Katrina worked 19 extra hours last week and got paid an additional $8 each hour. How much did Katrina earn last week?

60 During the summer, Courtney earned $18 an hour for walking dogs and $217 for house-sitting. What was the total amount Courtney earned over the summer by doing these jobs?

61 Brandon, Jared, Micah, and Randy helped to paint houses during the winter break. Each boy earned $73 by painting. How much money did all the boys earn?

62 Mr. Piasco has a large stamp collection with a total of 2,346 stamps currently. He is planning on organizing them into a stamp collector s book. Each page in the book can hold 13 stamps. How many pages will need to be in Mr. Piasco s book in order to fit all of his stamps?

63 Leslie sells necklaces made of glass beads. She has been making necklaces to get ready for a sale that is coming up. She had made 92 necklaces and each necklace uses 38 beads. How many beads did Leslie need to make all the necklaces?

64 Miss Burk is organizing stacks of paper that she needs to grade over the weekend. She had 8 stacks of assignments. Each stack contains papers for 46 students. How many assignments does Miss Burk need to grade over the weekend?

65 Andrew has 46 baseball cards. Brent has 6 times as many cards as Andrew. How many baseball cards does Brent have?

66 Through lots of saving money and fundraising throughout the past year, Kaya s family has saved $4,312 to donate to their favorite charities. If they want to split this money equally between 6 different charities, how much money should each charity get?

67 Mrs. Peabody s Pie Factory made $2,317 pies this past week. 42 of the pies were burnt and were unable to be sold. The remaining pies were sent out equally to 5 bakeries. How many pies were sent to each bakery?

68 A baker is selling boxes of donuts. Each box has 12 glazed donuts and 18 chocolate donuts. How many chocolate donuts should the baker make in order to fill 27 boxes to be sold?

69 Mrs. Everett s class donated 76 cans of food for the school food drive. Mrs. Anderson s class donated three times as many cans. How many cans did Mrs. Anderson s class donate for the food drive?

70 Charlie bakes brownies for her end of the year party. If she had nine trays and each tray makes 34 brownies, how many brownies did she make?

71 Farmer Dale has several chickens. Throughout the past month, he has collected 468 eggs from his chickens. If each chicken has provided 6 eggs throughout the month, how many chickens does Farmer Dale have?

72 Three best friends are having a combined birthday party. Each friends parents are going to pay an equal amount of the final cost of the party. If the party cost a total of $712 to throw, how much money should each set of parents pay?

73 Jessica and Veronica were baking cookies for their class Valentine s party. Jessica made 54 chocolate chip cookies and Veronica made 61 sprinkle cookies. If they combined their cookies and wanted to make sure all 23 students received the same amount of cookies, how many cookies would each person get?

74 A restaurant sold 492 slices of pie last week. If they sold about the same number of slices of pie each day for all seven days, about how many slices of pie were sold each day?

75 Bailey s Girl Scout troop is selling boxes of Girl Scout cookies. The troop has 982 boxes of cookies to sell and each girl is responsible for selling an equal amount of the cookies. 76 Mr. Branson is remodeling his house. He has just bought new tile for his dining room. He is going to place the tiles into rows of 23 tiles each. If he has 713 tiles, how many rows of tile can he create?

80 Brooklyn Elementary School is having a school carnival for a fundraiser to build a new library for the school. At the carnival, there will be four stations for people to buy raffle tickets. Each station will have 2 volunteers working it. If there are 3,670 tickets to be split equally among the 4 raffle ticket stations, how many raffle tickets should be put at each station?

101 The Ayres family is going to a Dallas Cowboys football game. Adult tickets to the game are $72 and tickets for children cost $43. How much money will it cost for the whole family to attend the game if there are two adults and three times as many children as adults in the Ayres family?
