FEBRUARY 16, 2014 CONTACT: THOM SIMMONS PAIRINGS ANNOUNCED FOR CIF SOUTHERN SECTION-FORD GIRLS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS, PRESENTED BY FARMERS LOS ALAMITOS - A total of 344 entries, including top seeds Mater Dei, Bonita, Camarillo, Cajon, West Torrance, Santa Barbara, Inglewood, JSerra, Brentwood, Aquinas, Orangewood Academy, and Hesperia Christian vie for championships in 12 single-elimination divisional playoffs beginning Thursday, February 22. The tournament will conclude with championship-final contests on March 7-8 at The Felix Events Center at Azusa Pacific University and Godinez High School. There were 270 teams, which qualified for the playoffs by finishing in the top half of their league standings.
