2 5 t th Annual Romeo Singles Invitational 2011 Sunday December 4 th at Summit Sports Center Better Bring Your A Game As th Annual Romeo Singles Tournament Field Loaded With Championss High school athletes from southeastern Michigan descended upon Romeoo to test their skills on the brand new synthetic lanes at Summit Sports Center. The popularity of highh school bowling and the Romeo Singles Invitational resulted in a record participating field of 186 athletes. This year s event added divisions for Junior Varsity. Once again, the competition was very intense and the quality of play was excellent. In boys varsity qualifying, Tylor Greene from finished his four game set with a 300 and led all qualifiers with 1,014 ( average) ; Jason McKelvey from Almont had 7999 for his first three games and was second with 1,009 (252.3 average). Girls Varsity s leading qualifier was Bryanna Mater of with a 874 (218.4 average). Boys JV top qualifier was Tyler Hood from Utica with an 891 (222.8 average); Drew Pappas from finished with a 290 gamee and qualified 4 th.
