The Aussie Gold National Cheer & Dance Coaches Conference is an educational conference where industry experts will be presenting topics ranging from choreography, business tips, conditioning, recruitment, stunting, tumbling, liability issues, rule interpretations and that s just the beginning! You will also have the opportunity to visit the Spirit Expo and meet representatives from the companies that supply cheer & dance related products including uniforms, poms, shoes, makeup, training wear & equipment. If you want to gain or update your qualifications for the upcoming season, we ll also be offering USASF Coach Credentialing. USASF Credentialing Raising the bar of safety expectations starts with you and your coaches.

Eligibility: Candidates must be 16 years old at the time of testing to gain Level 1 and 2 credentials and 18 years and over to be eligible for Levels 3-5.

The USASF Credentialing Program examines, tests and certifies the knowledge, expertise and proficiency that a cheer coach possesses to safely teach building and/or tumbling skills in Levels 1-5. Credentialing: The initial phase of credentialing includes: - Online (written) test - Hands-on (in person) oral test - Practical Field Experience Validation (complete the form and bring it with you) Coaches will choose the skill set(s) and levels at which they would like to credential: - Building Skills (includes stunts, tosses, pyramids, transitions, inversions, and dismounts) in Levels Tumbling in Levels 1-5 All coaches will begin at Level 1 and continue through the highest level for which they qualify. In essence, they are in addition to the hours required at the previous level. For example, for a coach to be eligible to test for level 5 they must have spent at minimum 250 hours coaching at levels 1 through 4.

6 USASF Credentialing cont... Maintaining Valid Credentials: Credentials are valid for three years. Coaches must re-credential when their credentials expire at the end of the three year term. Coaches who initially credential at Levels 1-4 may test to the next level at any time during the three-year period during which their credentials are valid. Expiration dates will extend an additional three years as each level is successfully completed. Cost: The cost for credentialing is priced per skill set per level: SKILL SET LEVEL 1 LEVEL 2 LEVEL 3 LEVEL 4 LEVEL 5 Building Skills (Stunts& Tosses) Tumbling USASF General Membership & Benefits: The USASF General Membership & benefits do not apply to International coaches.
